Ok, thanks !

Toddlerteaplease · 21/08/2022 21:27

Really staged this week. Love Raymond though!

Toddlerteaplease · 21/08/2022 21:41

But why did the lady with the ?TIA or whatever it was need an ambulance. She could have gone in a relatives car

purpleme12 · 02/09/2022 10:12

Bump

I came on here to talk about last night episode which I have still not recovered from. Those paramedics are just absolute heroes imo.

It was a heartbreaking episode.
I was crying all throughout 💔

I wanted to know how the baby who was fitting was but there was no update at the end. Which made me think it was sad news. I don't know how they cope with days like that. Just heartbreaking.

Same here. For the baby that had suffered the fit - the paramedics were so upset - they didn't give an update at the end - that started me off. Then the lady that had the miscarriage - the paramedics dealt with everything so well. Definitely the hardest episode to watch, from all of the series, since the beginning.

Whataplanker · 02/09/2022 18:33

I wondered if there was a potential child protection issue with the baby having fits. Such a sad episode. The couple whose baby passed away seemed so calm but I'm assuming shock.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/09/2022 21:10

Just watching it now. Their reaction to the fitting baby leads me to think that there was far more going on. I agree with the PP about safeguarding.

Toddlerteaplease · 02/09/2022 21:35

Oh that poor couple. Bit surprised that they showed the cocoon thing that mum was holding.

Oh god I feel exactly the same. I watched this this morning and it was just horror after horror. I know it's not always like that but I could not do that job.
I was so upset about the baby they rushed to hospital and like you said it was unusual that there was no update at the end 😞

Then the couple with the miscarriage - that was harrowing. 21 weeks is such a borderline gestation as well.

That ‘cocoon thing’ was her baby.

Toddlerteaplease · 04/09/2022 20:00

@Soontobe60 yes I know. That's why I was a bit surprised they showed it.

FasterthanBolt · 04/09/2022 20:04

The poor paramedics who dealt with the suicide and then the baby who was fitting, I hope their team was as nice to them in real life as they were on screen (letting then go home early). My heart broke for them when they got sent to the third emergency and they just couldn't do it :(

LadyGardenersQuestionTime · 04/09/2022 20:13

DH is a paramedic and there are several Paramedic Mumsnetters. They are pretty fabulous (but I can confirm they are not superheroes all the time).

purpleme12 · 05/09/2022 00:45

The frequent caller just made me feel sad 😔

Clawdy · 05/09/2022 07:43

Absolutely heartbreaking and harrowing.

butterpuffed · 05/09/2022 09:03

The paramedics are amazing , how they manage to cope with everything we see is beyond me .

lollipoprainbow · 05/09/2022 23:00

@purpleme12 she should be prosecuted for wasting ambulance time in my opinion.

Toddlerteaplease · 06/09/2022 08:26

@lollipoprainbow yes I agree.

Elderflower14 · 07/09/2022 11:30

I found last week's episode very hard to watch... Ds2 fitted at 2 weeks old. Our GP had been on holiday when ds was born and was on his way to see us. The surgery rang and said it was now an emergency call not a social visit. He came thought the door and up the stairs very fast. He told us to go and not wait for an ambulance.. DH drove like the wind. Ds was fitting all the way... GP rang ahead. I ran in the hospital with ds, screaming for help. A lovely doctor was waiting. He took ds and ran with me running behind.. He stayed in hospital several days... Very Very scary!! 😔 😔 😔

purpleme12 · 15/09/2022 23:19

Not on still ☹️

LaBelleSauvage123 · 18/09/2022 15:24

Does anyone know when the series is returning?

purpleme12 · 18/09/2022 16:14

I'm guessing it's just stopped cos of the Queen.
But then it has stopped in the middle of a series before so who knows
