I'm tuned in. Loved that poem on the more uncomfortable things about the 'commonwealth' . Loads of colour from the presenters outfits. Anyone else watching?

No Commonwealth Games ceremony is gong to be. It will have a tiny fraction of the budget for starters.

The flag bearer from Dominica was having the most fun.

Well I can certainly say a lot of people worked very hard for months to prep for it. Loads of locals in it. It may not have been as flash as London but it's been really positive, and colourful. I think they've done a great job (am biased though!)

I thought very entertaining, very different, very Brum centric, liked the bonkersness of it. Performers having a good time which is the actual point. Just normal people getting stuck in. Well done Brummies!

There was a scetch in Harry Enfield or the Fast show which was a Brummie dad running through the old Bullring with his kids shouting, "come on!" and they were all carrying suitcases. It was funnier watching it, honest!

I can't believe the commentators and cameras practically missed the red arrows though. I've got SO much better footage coming into my FB and WhatsApp feed from so many friends, but the TV seemed to not have been expecting them at all

Have really enjoyed the parade of all the competitors. So relaxed and so colourful. They all look so happy.
