I wonder if Pat knows Sam's planning on bringing 13 family members to the uk!!? They'll never fit in that small flat of hers! 😂 He's clearly just after getting to the uk. Why would he agree to the holiday in Greece then pull out due to 'work'. He just isn't interested in her just her status as a uk citizen. Must admit I'd be a bit wary of meeting someone for the first time and having to spend a week on a boat with them with no one else.

Emma and Hossein!!! Complete madness. I actually thought for one moment she was going to get the marriage annulled and dump him but then she says she has to get some nice smiley photos so he can get his visa. How can she not see what everyone else sees? He's just using her to get to the uk after which no doubt he'll be moving his mother in!

Only thing I have to say about Shaun and Christine is his mother is strange!!! She accuses Christine of only being there for monetary reasons then says she has missed Christine because they're 'best friends'!!! She mustn't have many friends then and I'd be very wary because that means you are going to end up with an over involved mother-in-law.

I think deep down she knows it's not real but she's too far in. His body language says it all, he doesn't even hug her properly.

Sam has no intention of meeting Pat. I thought he wanted a work visa? In which case I don't know why he needs Pat? He can get sponsored by a uk hospital and they will provide accommodation as well. I don't know how he thinks he will get all of his family over though. DH is on a spouse visa and we can't even get a visit visa for the in laws!

I think Sam may struggle to get a sponsor in the uk because his English isn't that good. Kathleen (as in Richard) was in the same position as Sam in that she was wanting to come on a work visa as a nurse but failed the English test. Her English was significantly better than Sam's too.

Was I the only one cheering when I found out Kathleen had dumped Richard. I'm not surprised. I think she got the ick with his vile comments and behaviour when he came to see her. Clearly his friends know what he is like as his friend actually said something like the reason Kathleen may have dumped him is because 'Richard was being Richard'. When he made Kathleen put on some tight little shorts and parade around in front of her family. Huge red flag and he clearly is a controlling abusive arse. No parents would have been happy with that and the Phillipines is much more conservative than the UK.

The only couples I'm rooting for are Shaun and Christine, although I didn't realise until yesterday that she is married so they can't do the fiancé or spouse visa. Also Alejandro and Kadie seem genuine.

The rest of them can get in the bin.

Why oh why did Emma go through with the wedding?! She could have called it off on the way there! Agree she probably feels too far in, sunk costs etc. And also agree with a previous comment that Hossein may be gay. Well, there's one man he's definitely in love with for starters. (Himself)

I don't know why Shaun's mum is saying Christine is after his money. He's hardly got any. Why give up a managerial job because of stress, surely its just as stressful having little money.

He's hardly got any because he gave it all to Christine. I like Christine and Shaun and I do think they're both genuine but Shaun is not able to sustain Christine and 4 children financially on his cleaner salary. That's literally minimum wage. People can barely get by on minimum wage as a single person.
It's just not possible and Christine won't stay because if Shaun can't help her financially then what's the point? And I don't blame her at all! She's a mum and she's gotta do what she's gotta do to feed her kiddos.

@workinmums Christine can't stay permanently anyway because she is on a visit visa.
She needs a spouse or fiancé visa to stay permanently but she can't apply because she is still married. Shaun doesn't have the £5k(!) for her annulment.

There are so many loose ends and unfinished storylines!

i felt sorry for Danielle's children they seemed so nice and grounded, crikey what a car crash of a relationship that was and do you remember the couple where the lad lived in Morocco or somewhere and she was american and she physically assaulted him and she had a little girl?

Well these series have been a load of crap and half-baked ideas. What's the point of making a show and then leaving most of the storylines unfinished?
