I'm not sure she wants approval from her mum. I think it's a pr move. Don't get into a relationship until someone from the outside (in this case mum) has approved of it and how it is perceived by the public. She is so high stakes and will have been coached on a load of different scenarios. Not only because she Michael Owens daughter but because she has brands already associated with her and has a career in dressage to protect.

I think Gemma has used the needing approval from Mum thing in order to keep Luca (or whoever she was coupled with) at arms length. It’s deffo worked as I think Luca would have been a lot more heavy handed about making it official otherwise.

I can’t really call how it will play out with Gemma’s Mum going in. Maybe they are all hoping it won’t come to that and Gemma and Luca leave before they meet the parents? But if she does go in I don’t think she will call out Luca to his face. She’ll keep it classy and non-commital I reckon. It would be epic if Gemma were to make a stand and call time on things with Luca because of his behaviour as it would send a very clear message to all the young people watching on what is acceptable behaviour in relationships. Sadly I think it will just limp on towards the final.

No real judgment from me about the lip filler. Though 19 is unnecessarily young! I have a tiny amount (0.5) injected to counter the effects of age, but the Russian technique is used on mine and I get bruising around, and on my lips, not to mention the initial swelling.

There was an article in the Sun yesterday from Tamer Hassan (father of Belle from LI S5 and himself a bit of a celeb). He said when they did 'meet the parents' the parents were given certain rules - no social media, no revealing if they'll be going in to the villa, no discussing any 'game playing' in the villa or audience reactions. On the day they were given instructions over loud speakers on what to do and where to sit. They also all had to sign NDAs.

So it will all be very scripted and I wouldn't get your hopes up for any big dramas when Gemma's mum goes in (if they survive to the end).

Someone on Aftersun early on in the series said that they all knew who Gemma’s Dad is. There was a mention of him by Luca when he and Gemma went on a date. Luca said something along the lines of that he wished he had the same skill with a ball as Gemma’s Dad and Gemma shot him a look as if to say “Don’t go there.”

I think Gemma’s Mum will be dignified and classy and will not want to criticise a young guy in a public way. I imagine it’ll be more of a quiet word with Gemma at the first convenient moment after Gemma leaves the Villa.

I don't think we're expecting any tell tale "he's a shit" type talk but I for one will be looking out for secret coded language!
