It's like they started with a psrticular story, and didn't really end it how they actually wanted to.

Yeah a bit of an anticlimax. I was somewhat distracted by the hugeness of Mrs Ashdown's furniture though. 😎

That really annoyed me. It could have been great but they went for the easy option. The idea is to build up a character THEN have them caught, not just a random we non of us have feelings about.

Has anyone checked to see who is now in the credits?

What was Princess and her mother on about on the phone at the end? Her mother said that this mess is now sorted out?

Bingle that's how I felt. All the build up had us bothering about the 'Sutton Vale 3'.
Maddison- months ago, when she visited her mother, there seemed to be an issue with Princess's training (and something to do with her uncle?). It was never brought up again- maybe that's what they will g oback to now.

Trouble is- I don't care enough about her, to find out she's a fraud. There have been a lot of clues that she doesn't seem to know what she's doing (and offloads stuff on other people all the time). I expected that to be why Ashdown died- Princess did him in because he found out her 'secret' !

Just caught up and yes it was a bit disappointing. I really thought we would have an Orient Express story. There's something so shady about Princess. I hope we're not meant to feel sorry for her!

doctors the way they kept showing Rosie/Maeve/Princess- it really did seem to be setting up an Orient Express style 'everyone did it'.

All in all, it was not the ending I expected, especially as it was the 'summer cliff hanger'. They didn't even stretch it out to the end of the first week!

Managed to catch up last night (our Sky box didn't keep the link either despite recording South Today forever just because I recorded an episode about three years ago when my friend was on it). DH and DD "helpfully" asked questions all the way through.

Agree that the Dr Ashdown thing was a huge anti-climax, I hoped we were going to find out that Princess was a serial killer who had been killing any doctor that got in the way of her plans for world domination.

Back to normal storylines then- with a vague 'not telling us what is happening' start.
