Mumsnet is almost unusable at the moment. If it’s not crashing then the threads are constantly reloading and loose any replies you’ve written!

What did Luca do when he was chatting and cuddling with Gemma and then she stood up and said he’d lost his chance and got all weird with him? Then in the preview for tomorrow night they’re obviously having an argument.

I haven't read the whole thread so apologies if this has already been mentioned but why does Gemma never face the boys she is talking to one-on-one with them? Her body and face are always angled away from them. Very odd indeed. She just comes across as so uninterested with an air of major importance about herself. Really not feeling this year's series so far (but still religiously tuning in at 9pm every night!!!!)

I really like Dami and Amber. Think they’re my faves so far. Ikenna’s breakfast was cute. Davide really made me laugh with his refreshments for Jacques and ES. He’s funny when not being so serious and brooding.

I still like Luca. I’m a sucker for a pretty face.

Jacques is coming across as a bit of a sleaze. Not good enough for Paige.

afia was a nice lass but her make up was dreadful this evening and her nasal voice was starting to irritate me 😳

Gemma wears such a lot of makeup it's hard to see her expressions or body language.

@skinnythick i want to know the same! Did he tease her by pretend to pull away or something? It’s quite awkward watching the two of them as Luca is all over her and I get the impression she doesn’t like it.

@Riddlediddle yeh I know it’s weird isn’t it? She’s extremely poor at giving eye contact and it makes her appear awkward and disinterested. It would drive me mad having a conversation with someone in this way, in fact I think I’d probably have to pull them up on it and point out how rude it is not to look at someone when you’re talking to them!

She's very robotic and the bright white teeth / veneers.

Gemma reminds me of Faye, that sort of stroppy and mean approach. At some point I imagine she'll talk about people having to earn her trust before she opens up. I have to keep reminding myself not to be too harsh on her. Most of us are dicks at 19.

Afia’s make-up didn’t seem to match her complexion in a band across her face underneath her eyes. But I wonder if it was the camera lighting that made it look worse than it was. I can’t believe nobody would have said anything to her if it actually looked that bad??!

I think Gemma is just too young to be there, the awkwardness and aloofness are part of that. Poor Afia going so soon. I like Amber and Dami, Indiyah and Ikenna but it's starting to look a bit more shaky with Tash and Andrew.
