What happened to the love island thread

Just been on to catch up on what I'd missed and the thread has gone?! Anyone have any idea why?

I’m finding it boring I actually can’t wait for the adds so I can tidy up a bit 😳 says it all really, I will stick with it a bit longer but I’m not enjoying it so far

I really like Dami. Approached people when he felt like they were in the wrong, was friendly and gave his view on it (Tash situation)

Seems confident within himself and pleasant to speak to. Not a self obsessed idiot. He's my favourite

I wish they'd show more of Dami, Ikenna, Paige, Afia and Indinay.

Love the fact that Ekin-Su was formally known as Suzie Hazel and appeared in a budget reality series called Lancashore set in the glamorous location which is Lancaster University.

She's definitely a seasoned grafter. This lot have no chance against her

The Davide/ ES kiss was grim. Not liking Jacques so far, especially not for Paige, his creepy comment about Gemma's mum . I agree that Dami is coming across really well now.

@marmiteadict - I’m starting to like Ekin- Su - she’s certainly giving it her all 😃

I like Dami on Unseen - his accent seems to have settled down a bit (perhaps early nerves?) and Amber seems lovely.

I'd like to see more of Ikenna - but he didn't impress me on Unseen, unfortunately, not because he didn't know about movement of sun/moon, but because he seemed to find it so difficult to grasp when Indiyah was explaining. Dim or doesn't like a woman being better-informed?

Caught up on aftersun this morning. Dead boring. Liam didn't say anything interesting.

The Best Bit was Kaz and Liberty talking about the girls holiday they'd just been on.

Not sure what made me vom most, that schlurping 'kiss' or Davide grunting as he squatted with ES on his shoulders hurl having to watch it again on Aftersun was painful....

The only thing I could applaud Liam on in unseen was when he kissed all the girls for his "kiss the girl you find most attractive" task - and he said they were all attractive. Good lad.

Agree with PP about Gemma being uncomfortable with Lucas wandering hands! Her and Jacques deffo have a spark but he’s giving me major fuck boy vibes. I really want someone nice to come in for Paige, Jacques is not that man.

My fave couple is Dami and Amber, I’m indifferent to the rest, ES and Davide, Indiya and Ikenna, and Tasha and Andrew, non seem to have any chemistry, all seems very bland and forced, like they’re just making do!

I agree with this actually - think he might be my favourite too!

Dami also looked like he was trying to defuse the situation in the preview of tonight with Luca and Andrew.

Anyone else find the never have I ever game annoying.

Also don't like the beer pong either.
What I also find weird about LI is if there are any arguments they never last more than a few minutes hmm
Feel like it's filmed a good 2 days in advance or else how what the after shoe know what's happened for the following episode.

AFTER show and sometimes previews of the next episode.
Plus the next episode if often the same evening as the night before episode.
Which is stupid as it means one 45 minute episode covers 2 days.
Maybe they should focus 30 mins in the evenings so we get proper evening focus from the start till they actually go to bed.
Rather than random 5 mins drama and continued for a bit the next episode.
If nothing happens in the day don't waste time with showing it.

Dami is definitely fast becoming a favourite.
Seems a thoroughly decent guy and he's got banter and charm too.

Speaking of which they have some of the l-o-n-g-e-s-t ad breaks ever don't they! I'm reminded why I watch on catch up when I'm ffwding 4-5 mins at a time!

Lots of press today regarding the age gap between Jacques and Gemma and why are none of the contestants are questioning it

In effect a 3rd\final year university student was going out with a 5th year (year 11)

I only watch because DD does, and it's become something we do together (with popcorn!)

I don’t think it’s ever been this quiet there was only a page and a half, maybe 2? during last nights show, I usually have loads of pages to catch up on reading!
