I don't dislike him but I've never understood the attraction personally. Definitely not a 'sexy priest' in my opinion!

I loved the first series of Fleabag but series two did nothing for me.

I’d second Catastrophe and Crashing.

Really loved Chewing Gum- like a more comedic Fleabag.

Loved Fleabag but I'm afraid I found the Priest very creepy 🤮

I just couldn't watch Fleabag. The first scenes where she's talking about the man she's shafting trying for anal with no previous discussion, preparation or lube just made me shudder.

I really wanted to watch it for the hot priest but just couldn't tolerate the main character at all.

I ended up watching a compilation of the priest scenes on YouTube instead, much better.

But she does say maybe she just has a really large arse hole 😂

I adore Fleabag. I watched it all again recently for about the tenth time. The first episode of the second series is one of the most brilliant TV episodes ever in my humble opinion. Hot priest - hmm. He is quite hot, but as someone said on Twitter, he also looks as if Ant and Dec were combined into one person 😂 her brother in law Martin makes me want to shower in bleach after every scene he's in. Such a perfect performance. I would watch an entire series of just Fleabag and her stepmother being passive aggressive to each other😁

Very much agree with the Alma's Not Normal love. Must rewatch that one too

Hot priest isn't physically hot, that's the point of him isn't it? It's all about the chemistry and the illicit nature of their relationship.

She's a huge fuck-up, she's not supposed to be likeable but she's really interesting and almost car-crash viewing, we can't stop watching what she'll do next.

Then there are the people around her - again none of them are likable but they are fascinating to watch from afar.

I was a huge fuck-up in my 20s and related to a lot of her monologues (please note: NOT the anal sex/huge bum hole) and I definitely pined for the wrong man far too many times than I'd like to admit - always unrequited and usually they didn't have a clue about me 😂

Another vote for Alma's Not Normal, it is the same level of amazing writing. It's based on the writer/Alma's actual life and is quite gritty at times but also very funny and poignant.

There's a show on Apple TV about adoption starring Rafe Spall which is so good - Trying.

Frayed, set in Australia (was on Sky, now on Now TV), fantastic. Took me a few episodes to get into but genuinely good and a few unexpected LOL moments for good measure.

The Other One is funny.

Corned beef - same. I just couldn't with that opening... badum-tshh. I did continue to watch it but I find W-B just doesn't nudge my funny bone at all. People have implored me to continue and give it more time... I don't have time to watch something that doesn't do it for me though.

I totally agree, didn't get the sexy priest thing at all. I'm sure he's very nice in real life, but the character reads as creepy. A liar. And not sexy in the slightest.

I really enjoyed all the other characters though with the exception of her dad who i just want to shake

The sexy piece was the chemistry. Not AS per se. You recognise that feeling of breathless attraction and it's therefore sexy to watch. IRL short, gay men aren't my jam either. But he's sexy in it because of his acting.

In the same way that I'd shag Maximus but I wouldn't touch Russell Crowe with someone else's.
