I loved this ! Smiled and laughed all the way through.

I cried laughing watching it. Jamie was very funny and their banter was great. The "keep me anonymous " section, good god🫠😂The Ronan fan still looked utterly gutted at her memorabilia being destroyed despite actual Ronan being there😂I stopped listening to the podcast a while back (just not enough time in the day) but I think the transition into a tv show went well and it'll only get better as they do more. Barry doesn't work on tv and I think she toned it down abit so it's less funny.

Overall, loved it and can't wait for more!

I have liked Chris for years and loved him on Strictly. Am not so keen on Rosie. Their fame is down to him but she seems to think it is all about her

Um, I’m going to jump on here and say what a nasty comment. Listen to the podcast from the start, the days during lockdown particularly she is equally, if not more, relatable and funny as far as women, parenthood and daily life is concerned, she’s certainly as smart and entertaining as him.

I really don’t know them personally, but it boils my blood when this kind of comment is made. Quite simply, the tv show is equally billed because they both earned the right and have the talent to have, equal billing.

If you are a fan of his, it’s really disrespectful to comment in this way and probably posted to derail the thread, which is primarily about their jointly-hosted TV show, for which they are both being paid in recognition of their individual talents.

I'm assuming you haven't listened to the podcast, seen the live show or read the book then? Rosie Ramsey has been in the public eye a couple of years now and prior to that she was a presenter on capital radio.

I am a big fan of the podcast. I didn't think I'd enjoy the TV show but I actually did and laughed loads.

That's really unfair. There's something about a confident woman that bothers some people.

He was obviously well known and became famous much earlier than her but that doesn't mean she hasn't earned her place.

She has talked on the podcast about people commenting on her appearance and saying he should have a much fitter wife, and she hangs off his coat tails. She laughs it off and turns it into a joke but it must hurt.

She's a natural performer, funny, confident and seems like a genuinely lovely person.

I wish them all the best with the show, it's very new and needs some tweaking here and there but this happens with all new tv shows they will find what works and what doesn't as time goes on.

I really enjoy the podcast, however the TV programme just wound me up we only saw the first guests those made in Chelsea people and it was just awful.
Very rare I turn anything off half way through but I did this.

Pre Rosie becoming known via Instagram and the Podcast, he was only famous to those who followed/saw stand up comedy.

Adding her into the mix has brought them into a broader audience and massively increased his fame too.

I actually think, considering Rosie isn't a comedian, she comes out with some cracking one liners which can outshine Chris's more rehearsed comedy. She's definitely the better of the two in regards to presenting, she came across as natural, it wasn't forced (whereas Chris was a bit less natural, I thought)

I like them best when they make each other laugh so much that there's a few seconds silence because Rosie can't continue due to laughing so hard.

They seem like a lovely couple.

She is only known because of him though.

When he was announced for Strictly loads of people were saying "who" on the Strictly facebook page and on digital spy.

I posted on facebook that I was happy he was going to be in it and just about all my friends/family said "who is he".

If people didn't know him they certainly did not know her.

The Chris and Rosie Ramsey show is the Shagged Married Annoyed podcast presented by Chris and Rosie Ramsey, transferred to TV ( I would say it’s obvious why it doesn’t keep the same title for the BBC) It is presented by both of them, whether the viewers have heard of either of them already or not. I mean, if it was Chris and Barry presenting the TV show, you might have a point/actual beef.

So he is known on comedy circuit and for those who watch panel shows and she is known for radio and Instagram (she has a massive following bigger than Chris) and they are jointly known for their podcast. Just because she's not on your radar doesn't mean she doesn't have a career in her own right. A lot of people will have heard of either of them(my dad) some will know him, or her or both.

What did you all think of tonight's episode. I love Martin Kemp but Shirley is so dull!
Not sure about the end with her whole family on stage and her singing ... it was a bit amateurish. Her voice isn't great either.

I think the Barry beef is a bit cringy, I think they should scrap that. I agree she's not an amazing singer but I find the family stuff quite sweet. The kemps were not as good as Jamie last week, Lou sanders was hilarious though.

Her singing is dreadf. And why was she singing Rick Astley when Martin Kemp was there? Surely a karaoke rendition of Gold would have been better

I'm not sure she could hit the notes for gold. But yes a spandeu ballet song would have made sense.

I really like Rosie, it's irrelevant whether she was well know before or not. She holds her own and more

It's the one program I can actually be bothered to watch at the moment

She is a lovely singer I think she plays it down when she is on the show and just has some fun with it. She's probably self conscious that randoms on the internet will say she's showing off.

I really enjoyed it again.

Get rid of Barry beef and the song at the end, and the tacky graphics, but the rest is translating really well from podcast to tv. The bit where they announced that her mum hadn't spread her nan's friends ashes was hilarious! As was Lou Sanders

I bloody love Martin Kemp though.

We watched it with DSD in the room. I was quite uncomfortable until I saw she had her EarPods in and wasn't listening to any of it

I still like Barry Beef, it's like a podcast in joke for SMAs and DAs.

The Kemps were another good couple to have on. Next week it's Craig Revel Horwood and his partner.

Hated the tv show. I feel genuinely bad saying that because I almost feel like I know them through the podcast and I do, so wanted to like it…but it just didn’t work for me. Far too contrived and cringe.

This weeks felt better. Less awkward, better couple. Had no idea who Shirly was but she was far from boring.

I love Rosie but her singing is dreadful it sounded like drunken karaoke, she sounds better on the podcast.

I quite liked their podcast originally but found it got very samey very soon- humour wise. I only got through the first half of the TV version before I was cringing myself inside out however.

It's so feel good. It pairs nicely with semi drunk. I laughed a lot at episode two - mainly at the guest they had reading the Keep Me Anonymous boaking at the stories.
