I think the delays definitely helped Carlos in that the painkillers kicked in - if they'd carried on earlier (and no-one had collapsed) Rafa had momentum an would probably have gone up ahead in the 3rd.

If he does it here let's hope he can do it again tomorrow.

I don't really think it was that much of a surprise- if Rafa is more likely to lose anythere on clay- traditionally, it's Madrid. And he's coming back from injury. He's been playing below his normal level all week.

But so well done to Carlos, to keep going- I just really hope he is not too injured, and can beat Djok tomorrow.
