Jane I'm probably being a bit unfair to Denis cos I'm biased.

Jo is still hitting the ball pretty hard. Whether he can keep this up for 3 -5 sets, remains to be seen though.

The crowd are definitely up for it. Though, there do seem to be a lot of empty seats, which is a big shame.

I'm surprised they scheduled him for lunchtime in Paris!

Jane I was about to say the same. . Lunch in Paris isn't exactly a quick Tesco meal deal affair.

There was talk of the government here banning meal deals. It did not go down well (unlike the meal deals)

Jane DD1 would be horrified if they did She sometimes gets one for school- and actually likes a reasonably healthy combination (she likes the pasta salads). And it's actually cheaper than she could get at school. (Where she usually just buys rubbish, because the choices aren't that great/no time anyway).

No- I don't think they are generally. School gets a bit sniffy about them (probably because so many kids get them at the tesco next door, instead of buying school lunch!). They banned energy drinks- which you can get with a meal deal.

Ugo Humbert is involved in a bit of a battle- shame really his match isn't on a show court. Currently 2 sets all.

But Gasquet is through, so the French have something to cheer about (Benoit is 2 sets down).

I agree with Jo, that if Jo-Willy loses the set now, it might all go down hill rapidly. It's been quite close up to now.

I'm a lazy arse today but I'm really tired because DH kept me awake with his coughing. He's on antibiotics but they don't seem to be working! He's lucky I didn't smother him with my pillow.
