Morning. Usual round of people I had no clue existed with the odd exception. Fatima was great. Young woman complaining that it was really hard after not even a full day was less good!

We decided the order day what we really need is a bake off SAS mash up. Trying to bake a delicate opera while listening to the torture sounds.

We watched it to try to work out who the celebrities are. Only know 2 of them.

The American guy needs to use a more natural hair dye or embrace old age batter.

Quite enjoyed it.

Fatima was amazing and I liked how they respected her.

I enjoyed it and I am really rooting for Fatima. Wouldn't you think if you were entering, that you would go into some type of fitness regime beforehand?

I decided I wasn't going to watch it again after the last series (couldn't stand the new format) but think they've taken note of viewer feedback possibly? Rudi has toned it down a lot and the British guys seemed more centre stage. Fatima is going to be awesome! I knew 5 of the clebs 😄

Anyone else think the female boxer deliberately didn't fight in case Callum genuinely got the better of her? I know she's a pro but ultimately men are stronger than women.

@Crinkle77 I couldn't understand why she didn't fight. Made no sense.

@Crinkle77 From what I could understand of what she was mumbling, I think she was worried that as an actual boxer, she could do too much damage to him rather than him do any damage to her!

Apparently (according to the Metro here ) she vowed that she wouldn’t use her fists to hurt anyone in the programme, and picked Calum to go up against as he was the biggest (so presumably the one she felt best able to defend himself?)

I found it weird the praise for Fatima over the gas as surely it's just luck? Rather than any special skill or strength?

Luck in what way though? She breathed in the same gas as the others; I think she just managed to control herself more effectively rather than panicking as soon as she felt it in her throat. So it speaks to her mental strength and ability to exercise self-control. It’s what he was saying before the task about when your body is telling you to run away but your mind has to overcome that.

Yes but she didn't have eyes streaming or anything. That's got to be more than mind over matter that she powered through?

Haven't got a clue who a few of these are, going to have to google! Amber seemed to have picked up a bit after her first whinges, not sure if she was putting it on a bit thick at first. Not sure how anyone would go on this without ramping up their fitness first (Jonathan said his friend did him a cross training programme).

We didn't see much of quite a few of the participants in the first show so hoping we'll see more next one.

Fern is a surprise. I knew she was fit but I didnt expect her to have any emotional stamina. Fatima is a machine and how amazing is her back story.
