Have just stumbled on this thread. West Wing is def the best programme ever made - nothing else compares to it. I have been on a tour of the Warner Brothers studio lot and saw Josh in the distance and he waved to me I find that one episode is the perfect length to eat tea to (bad eating in front of tv....

Cod - dh was really into it and I caught on a few episodes in. Completely second the suggestion to NOT attempt to do anything else while watching. I still feel quite proud when I have understood everything in any given episode. Having no understanding of the US political system doesn't help much either...doh!!
