you have to buy yourself a subscription to the Radio Times

it is the best thing ever it just pops onto the doormat

Remember my gran getting the Radion times for BBc listings and TV Times for ITV (it wasn't THAT long ago fgs)

Gran proclaimed that the TV Times was common and didn't read any of the articles.

Radio Times still stands out - TV Times, TV Chav and all the other TV mags have got pictures of Stacey Slater from eastenders on the front (looking heartborken) whilst Radio Times has Alan Titchmarsh looking enigmatic.

Don't buy any of them.

Tutter · 08/01/2008 12:46

CatIsSleepy · 08/01/2008 12:46

I used to find the Christmas RT very exciting...

you all simply must eat beetroot.
hugh laurie is hot.
thongs are uncomfortable and unhygenic and i don't care who knows i wear knickers.

Tutter · 08/01/2008 12:47

oh yes tv times for rough folk

this the view of may parents who also sniffed at any itv watching

kittylouise · 08/01/2008 12:47

Or Alan Titchmarsh looking moronic, depending on your pov.

Cappuccino · 08/01/2008 12:47

when was Alan Titchmarsh last on the cover?

honestly you lot are so behind

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 08/01/2008 12:48

stick with it past series two?

that is a lot of my life gone

OP posts:
kittylouise · 08/01/2008 12:48

lol 'rough folk'

Iota · 08/01/2008 12:48

I find that the TV Guide button on the sky remote control combined with the Culture section of the Sunday Times is more than adequate for my TV viewing

( dh is a big channel hopper anyway, that's how he finds what he wants to watch)

Tutter · 08/01/2008 12:48

i missed the whole of series 1 of lost

watched series 2 on dvd (a binge over a week or two)

series 3 recorded by dh's secretary - we have no sky

Cappuccino · 08/01/2008 12:51

pmsl at tutter

"we have no sky" no nor me tutter poor us

"recorded by dh's secretary"

CatIsSleepy · 08/01/2008 12:51

at least Heroes made sense (sort of)
Lost was too confusing for me-always seemed like they were making things up as they went along

MamaG · 08/01/2008 12:52

CatIs - you do hav eto be rather clever to understand Lost

Tutter · 08/01/2008 12:52

lol capp

she is a shared secretary, does that help?

Cappuccino · 08/01/2008 12:52

oh yes that makes all the difference

OP posts:
ahundredtimes · 08/01/2008 12:53

I agree Cats. I couldn't keep going with Lost, it was so silly whereas Heroes is well, obviously, not AT ALL silly

brimfull · 08/01/2008 12:54

capp i hope you put your RT in one of these

CatIsSleepy · 08/01/2008 12:54

MamaG you probably have a point

I do think part of the problem with Lost was I kept falling asleep and then couldn't work out whether I'd dreamt certain bits or actually watched them

not that it made much difference really
