I've gone to Emmerdale for half an hour!

Fizzy I used to love the snooker in the 80s- it was such a big thing, the World Championships final over the bank holiday weekend.

I can't get into these days.

Crap scheduling though. Andy is back tomorrow playing probably Shaggy, who is still playing, whilst Cam doesn't play until Wednesday and nor does Dan, who played yesterday

The schedule does seem a bit random kazza - Andy seemed a bit surprised that he was playing tomorrow!

I missed the end- ended up being a taxi for half the night, and then getting distracted panicking about dd2's secondary school appeal today.

At least if the schedule in Madrid is disrupted any more by rain, they have a roof on each of the show courts iirc.

I do feel for Domi- he really hasn't had much luck since winning the US open- which wasn't the slam anyone expected him to win first. He was on my 'one to watch' list for ages, and the natural successor to Rafa, on clay. He's got time on his side- but it is a shame that this injury has come when it has.

Fingers crossed for Rafa later- I'm keeping my expectations for this tournament low. It's his least successful of the clay ones (he's 'only' won it 5 times ) - he might have been better with an extra week to recover. But we will see.

Actually, I think Rafa plays tomorrow- I hate Bank Holidays- they throw my week into complete chaos

Bublik/Kecmanovic (one of whom will play Rafa next) are playing today.

I only saw bits of it, but Jack Draper gave Rublev a real scare. He very nearly had the biggest win of his career and is definitely having a great few months!

Djok has a habit of wearing tops that from a distance make him blend in with the clay.
