Jane I think Grigor suffered due to the odd 'Roger' comparisons, and the fact the Big 3 were very much at the top of the game when he emerged. He has always been so inconsistent- when he plays well, he is good- but when he has a dip, it is a big dip.

I also have a theory that Grigor's personal life might have got in the way a bit- his high profile relationship with Shrieky, and then randomly with Nicole Sherzinger- I'm not sure his head was always on the court.
