Why is NYE always so God-damn miserable in Albert Square?

It gets more and more morose - no wonder more people commit suicide after watrching eastenders than any other tv programe

i cried and dh was disgusted with me!

It was very emotive... especially the big ben bongs at the end....

THey were trying to make it look like a stolen vehicle (eg Joyriders)

i half watched it, but i have missed loads, the last one i properly watched was the one where the brannings see the DVD of stace and max.... still don;t know what happened after that !

Ah. Seems I haven't watched Eastenders for far too long as I have no clue who Kevin is, nor Shirley.

Before watching eastenders I was fine.

I am OK but in the knowledge that I am not living in the real world as I am living between home and hospital, dp is pampering me and doing everything, dd is constantly on best behaviour and it is the school holidays. They are having a conference about me tomorrow and to decide when I shoudl return to work and create a care plan.

And so everytime Dh and I see him on Eastenders, no matter what he says, we say "parklife" at the end of the sentence.

Dammit - another pointless TV game scuppered.

At least our "singing the name of the programme to the theme tune" can still continue.
