I didn't manage to watch the match -I knew I'd be asleep before it started Grin. Have enjoyed reading your comments though.
I woke up and checked the scores when it was 1 set all.I was very relieved to see the resultGrin.
I can only imagine what the commentary was like- I'm sure Petch was desperate for an upset.
I see Kyrgios was back to his sweary, umpire abusing self.

(I won't ask if Dustin Brown got a mentionWink)

Alcaraz next- Carlos has come a long was since they met in Madrid on his birthday- should be a much tougher match.

Thank goodness Rafa won. Reading the match report, it sounds like Dick was back to his bad best and then continued to moan in the press conference.
The Alcaraz match could be very interesting!

Evening! Was wondering if anyone was up for the Rafa/Alcaraz match

It’s a bit of a late start - was glad that the Rublev/Fritz match didn’t go into a third set - well done Taylor - ouch poor Rublev’s hand after bashing his racquet!

I think Alcaraz will be a different opponent to the one that Rafa beat on his 18th birthday - not sure about Rafa’s foot - I need to hear Dr Greg’s verdict on that one Grin

I don’t even mind Rafa losing to Alcaraz - as long as he didn’t lose to Kyrgios- I didn’t manage to watch all of that match - I’m still chuckling about him heckling Zoolander Grin
