So when Mum said don't speak with Him I wondered why she was ok with her son talking to a man. It's ok cause it's his Dad.

Brian has groomed Pauline as an easy target to get 'close' to Jenna to seek his revenge .

My guess is … Bloke sat at table at the end I think was a teacher. Miss Jenna got him fired for improper conduct at the previous school perhaps with Kyle. Guy grooms (or is his father even) Kyle to stitch miss Jenna up in revenge. Not sure if black lady is in on it or not.
The guy from the previous school is the 'him' the mum made Kyle promise not to see again. He 100% got fired after Jenna reported him and got him fired for being a perv at that previous school. He's now groomed gay Kyle into setting up Jenna as revenge. Or jenna's dad got him fired and that's his revenge - having his daughter disgraced

As for Nina, handing the burner phone over to Kyle's mum when it should have been given to the police to clear Jenna, what a nasty piece of work!

I think she said something about her mum being her age - the description from the ex is of J being a more regulated person in her 20s - sometimes reaching the age that a parent died at can someone strange things to you, maybe that sent her off the rails

I don't think we've seen or read anything between Kyle and the ex teacher that would show they are in a sexual relationship - the hug could have been a father son one too.

Yeah I agree. If it happened in 2005 and then Kyle was born not long after, that would make him the right age.

The video was disturbing, obviously she was a bit more prim and proper and dobbed him in at one stage at her old school.
Unless there is another twist to it all ?

So are we thinking Brian is Kyle's dad? And Kyle's mum went to Brian's school and he abused her and got her pregnant?
It looked like Kyle was kissing a man in the alley, when the man was walking off and Jenna was following him it didn't look like Brian. Or was it Kyle she was following?

My new theory

I think Jenna dobbed Brian in for something at school when they were both teaching there, and Brian got sacked. He's always held a grudge, and he's using Kyle because he knew he and Jenna were quite close (though innocently so) to get back at Jenna. Kyle agreed because he thought Jenna would deny everything, but she didn't. Brian is giving Kyle money in return for his help.

But I have a feeling Jenna's dad might be involved somehow - he seems a nasty piece of work. Though TBF, he could just be at the end of his tether with all the heavy breathing - imagine 30 years of all the huffing and puffing - would drive you mad :)

Completely agree with above. I also now think Jack slept with her and knew she was innocent as he was with her. He wouldn't go to the police to help her because his wife would find out.

Yes ... although when Jenna was receiving the malicious emails surely it might have occurred to her that they could be from this ex-teacher with a grudge against her?

How come she was given all the cctv footage ( wouldn't that be a breach of security or something by the club ?) and statements etc from the police ? Is this normal procedure?

That wouldn't prove her innocence because the CCTV showed her going into the loos with Kyle, and it wasn't until after that that Jack turned up to collect her.

The thing that strikes me as implausible is that she pleaded guilty when there was no forensic evidence.
