Our Girl Thread 63 "Our Girl Revisited and then what?"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and galloped through three series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are now revisiting series 2 of Our Girl and are trying to decide what to watch after that.

At least she is unburdening herself a bit by telling Kingy her thoughts. He must think she needs some help.

Mimi and Prof escort some American bigwigs who are going to interview Omar.

Prof has Mimi sussed, but she doesn't want to tell the truth.

Oh, forgot about him. Here comes 'Cheese' and Mimi does not look pleased.

Georgie and Kingy have brought back a new member of the section to replace Fingers. Why on earth he's called Cheese is anyone's guess. Seems he knows Mimi however and she is clearly thinking he will reveal all the stories about her home life to be lies.

If Dr Dishy is supposed to be the love interest, it's all a bit tame.

Ah, Dr Dishy. Couldn't wait to get in to see her. Who believes Georgie is ready for everything? Yep no hands up!

Even more hugging. Well, wouldn't say no. Grace would be delighted if she could see you now.

I think Dr Dishy wanted to be the love interest, but Georgie had other ideas. I reckon she sees him as friend material, and he hopes for more in time.

Now Georgie learns that Omar might get off the hook and she must be seething as he's responsible for both Elvis and Fingers one way or another.

Meanwhile Cheese doesn't waste time in being nasty to Mimi.

Dr Dishy knows she's not thinking straight and needs therapy.

Georgie barges in to the Brigadier's office. That was one hell of an outburst.

It was right that she's been confined to barracks.

Yuck...what a hideous spider in a frame on the wall.

I reckoned he was in with more than a chance but then the deal the Yanks were cutting rather put her off the idea.

Unnecessary of the Brig to tell her she might not be able to continue in the army.

Good at last some proper Army discipline and action on Georgie needing therapy

I also think that when he saw her after she'd barged in on the Brig made him realise she had issues.

We've two episodes to go and we've still not decided what we're going to do after the last one? I will need to hunt out a DVD for whatever we choose. Any ideas?

Action packed episode and some not only poignant but serious stuff. This series was definitely handled by more professional and knowledgeable director(s)

I've been wracking my brains ilove but not got any ideas I'm afraid. UnfortunatelyI watched Last Tango in Halifax recently so wouldn't fancy that again so soon. Something on iPlayer or one of the other channel Apps would suit me best as I don't have much in the way of DVD's.
