Our Girl Thread 63 "Our Girl Revisited and then what?"

We started to follow "Our Girl" back in 2014 and although there will be no further series, we do revisit from time to time. We have watched all seven series of "Soldier Soldier" to keep up our military terminology and galloped through three series of "The Musketeers". Of course, there is a definite connection between "Our Girl" and "The Musketeers" in the delightful form of Luke Pasqualino. We are now revisiting series 2 of Our Girl and are trying to decide what to watch after that.

So, Elvis not surprisingly draws the conclusion that Jason is obsessed with Georgie.

Ah in the beach scene, it was filmed about 15 miles from me. I was rather tempted to go and watch but didn't want to waste a day's holiday from work.

One of these boy chats

CJ is doing the Uncle thing again and humphing at the sight of Elvis and Georgie. He looks like the headmaster, doesn't he.

Abu/Jason/s mother wants to meet up with Georgie.

CJ watches Elvis and Georgie in the quadrangle or whatever the army equivalent is. He is pretty cross and tells Elvis to keep his nose out!

This is a fast paced episode. One scene after another very rapid. No time get a comment wriitten

I'm surprised Jason's mum is talking about Guy Fawkes.

I was watching Endeavour before this and that's Fred Thursday's Missus!

Georgie finds out the origins of Abu's radicalisation. It stems back to having a Muslim girlfriend at university.

His poor Mum. At least she talks about Saira and gives Georgie a lead on who might give her more information

Georgie tells Mrs Abu about when she was kidnapped and held hostage. Sobering thoughts for sure.

Poor Mum, it's not her fault and it must be so painful to hear what happened.

She must wonder where she went wrong when she was bringing him up.
