Yes, we can investigate by doing our own googling (eg Wikipedia entries) and using our own researched or informed knowledge of slebs.

I'd rather the thread didn't become populated with potential spoilery 'guesses' from Twitter if people don't mind ,as when these start trending, they often come from leaks.

That said, I do think I might eventually have twigged the Superbowl thing. But that wouldn't have helped!

Jason Donovan is a great guess for Traffic Cone! I'll be nerdily listening out for any accent slips in his second VT on Saturday.

Thanks for clearing up. Once I thought it was him I didn’t have to investigate too much tbh. The clue package made much more sense.

Nobody knows apart from the singer and production team. The singers offen keep it a secret from their families

Well, OK... just like no one knew about all the parties. Until they did....

I do think that Twitter probably just gets the right answers the way that we do - throw enough guesses around until someone is suggested who ticks all the boxes and someone who happens to be an expert in the life and times of H from Steps or whoever steps in to explain the more opaque clues, at which point other people arrive at a consensus that that makes sense. It's a hive mind but it's just a bigger hive than ours.

It's like googling crossword clues on the internet - there's so many people out there that someone will have got it before you, but it does take some of the fun out of it.

I guess so, but on this thread I would like us to be guessing and researching rather than saying 'everyone on Twitter say this so it must be right'. We still seem to come up with correct answers in the end!

I am not suggesting we shouldn't share guesses. I know 'what constitutes a spoiler' has led to bizarre arguments on other threads!

I think it's reasonable to think it's more fun for us to do our own thinking - to some extent the longer it takes us to work it out the better, because if we go into the last week 99% certain we know who everyone is it's a bit dull.

I just don't think Twitter knows because of leaks.

I don’t think googling or researching some of the clues for yourself takes the fun out of it, but each to their own.

I came up with my guess, admitted I had investigated it but purposefully did not reveal any of my thoughts on here or other social platforms so that it wouldn’t take away the fun from others finding out things for themselves.

What I meant was - zero own research followed by 'Twitter says it's Elvis Presley' and then it turns out Twitter is right ... no sense of satisfaction !

It's also fine to say why you think things, otherwise pointless. So eg the comedy badge was noticed by people on Panda's costume which gave rise to the Susan Calman theory.

I could have had every clue in the world last year and still not have known Joss Stone.

Panda is throwing all sorts at me, my guess at the minute is Claudia Winkleman only because she said something about likened to a Panda before? I thought maybe that meant her eye makeup, very tenuous 😂

Donny Osmond was in panto over here and has a single out. I also thought he might be in this but not sure what costume to allocate him to. My guesses seem to be, who is on the 'radar' atm - new single/tv show/agent who gets them these type of gigs....so Donny is a sound shoutout. tbf. Got to fit him somewhere though....
Still going for Ant and Dec for Robobunny (or little Ant and Dec to fit in the costume! I don't think it's Donny AND Marie.)

Louis has a lovely voice, if he's donuts its massively and v well disguised, I'm a huge 1D fan!

I couldn’t really link the moustache to anything other than Jason Donovan played the barber Sweeney Todd (the pie clue)

Another musical clue too, the number plate CC7 10BB the 7 and 10 are a different clue but CCBB I presume is Chitty Chitty Bang Bang?
