MrsLargeEmbodied · 04/01/2022 18:31

SunshineCake1 · 04/01/2022 18:38

CovidCorvid · 04/01/2022 18:39

@SunshineCake1

When is part two on please ?
Tonight inthink.
theNumbersStation · 04/01/2022 18:45

Tonight at 2100.

NeilTheBaby · 04/01/2022 18:54

I'm confused about the narrative of him believing it was his son. According to the newspapers, tonight we are going to see him finding out Teddie wasn't his, which he insisted he was, and a dna test being needed. Teddie even has his last name and the real father is still fighting to get put on the birth certificate. Even the neighbour said she was already pregnant when that monster moved in. Either he is really thick or in denial.

Seeing their reaction on being arrested reminded me of the press conference held with that dreadful couple, the Philpots.

In both instances the tears were so obviously forced… all grimacing and sobbing. Somehow, instinctively, it was clear that the emotion was not real.

Oh god, he was categorically awful. I remember that press conference. Neither him or his wife shed one actual tear.

It was such a tough watch but I didn't like the lead woman she seemed unable to safe guard or comprehend the true nature of abuse she said the right things but I suspect a great deal has been cut out she can't be that naive surely. The police had the powers to put that man away before or for social services to issue a marac meeting and do a risk assessment which would have been flagged with every visit to the house they chose not too. They had history on the man and they let it slide. The police and social services are just as culpable if not more so. Now little teddy is another innocent child on a long list of children lost to this. Lots of hand wringing going on but no change. Rip Teddy indeed another baby p

SunshineCake1 · 04/01/2022 20:33

Thank you for telling me when it is on.

Sunsetsupernova · 04/01/2022 20:44

I really hope this makes people report more.

My neighbours have a baby and frequently scream and shout at each other. I have reported them in the past to the police (more out of concern for the baby than them) but some of my friends have expressed they think I was overreacting and I should have knocked on their door instead Hmm

waterlego · 04/01/2022 20:51

Like PPs, I found it very difficult to listen to the recordings of the suspect yelling at Teddy’s mother. I’ve never heard such extreme rage. It must have been utterly terrifying for all of the children and for Lucy. Also deeply distressing and frightening for the neighbours too.

What a vile human being. I don’t think someone like that can ever be redeemed or reformed in any way.

waterlego · 04/01/2022 20:54

Either he is really thick or in denial.

Yes, or he has always known the child is not his, but is pretending he didn’t know so as to pretend to be some sort of victim to gain sympathy.

Sharpie0870 · 04/01/2022 21:00

It's on shortly.

In my 4 year relationship with my ex.. The father of our child, the police were called 21 times. 19 of those calls were our next door neighbours.

God the way she's covering for him is so common place from abused women

So sad she can't see she's being abused.

CovidCorvid · 04/01/2022 21:09

He is awful, and so cocky. Total psycho.

By now she must have known what he did to the baby and she still covers for him.

waterlego · 04/01/2022 21:11

He is just SO unbelievably angry. I wonder what made him like that.

Lovemusic33 · 04/01/2022 21:11

I wouldn’t say it’s common place, I have loved with an abuser, there’s no chance on this Earth I would cover for someone one that had killed my baby and separated me from my other children. Her behaviour isn’t normal at all, she’s seriously messed up and putting an abusive prick before all of her children.
FitYeDaeinYeMadRadge · 04/01/2022 21:12

The rage in his face is horrific. What a nasty shit.
