The Great Pottery Showdown back tonight

Is anyone going to be watching? I absolutely love it despite only ever having one go at throwing a pot at school, forgetting to take my foot off the pedal and watching as the clay shot off the wheel into the adjoining open-plan science area. Looking forward to the new host too as I felt the last one made it a bit like a vehicle for her stand-up comedy routine.

Me too. My face fell when the special "guest" turned out to be Siobhan - I find her a bit abrasive

I will miss Ellie - she has been fabulous.

I expected Jenny to win that one but did prefer the otter. I think Keith preferred the fish but Rich pushed for the otter, which was charming. They are all so talented.

Otter for me. I loved the badger and the angler fish, but the otter had such a fantastic shape and coat, and unlike the fish the light really added something.

Another here who is rather gutted about the change in presenter - I really liked her. But sad for the contestants too, it must be odd getting Siobhan back at this stage.

I honestly though Rich was going to cry at the otter. it's the most reactive I've seen him so far about any piece

I didn't like Anna's story. It wasn't funny - but, yeah, that's nature.

I loved AJ's otter - it looked like it had been caught doing something it shouldn't.

DH , like MIL, gets words mixed up. He came in tonight & asked what time Frottery Hoedown was on. It's never being called anything else again.

Sea otters are my favourite animal, but they most definitely don’t live in Scotland, they live in the pacific. We have otters in Scotland, some even live on the seashore but they are not sea otters and they don’t have a pocket to keep a rock for breaking shells on like AJ described. I think her lamp was lovely but it irritated me that she didn’t know where they live.

I thought all the lamps were good. I agree that I'm sad to see Elllie go. I liked Siobhan last year (love her as the nun in the Derry Girls) but Ellie brought a real sweetness and warmth to it and I found her very endearing.

I'm sure Sarah Pascoe is lovely but her voice really annoys me for some reason. I know that's my problem, though.

The otter was delightful - AJ has such a great creative ability. They made that lovely set as well for the challenge

I don’t care for Anna and her stories.

And definitely not that one. It wasn’t a hilarious little tale from the river bank.

It made her sound callous and cruel.

And an arse.

Awful. She can go.

Deserved winner. I loved the fish and if it had been a little bulb I think it would have sold it but the otter was lovely.

Sad to see Tim go.

Yes, I'm sad to see Tom go, he was a character and did well in early weeks. You're right about Anna's story - Ellie's face said it all. Not nice.
The fish had plenty of sgaffiti (?) on it, but it wasn't as nice a design as some of the others. The octopus was actually a lovely idea!
