The Great Pottery Showdown back tonight

Is anyone going to be watching? I absolutely love it despite only ever having one go at throwing a pot at school, forgetting to take my foot off the pedal and watching as the clay shot off the wheel into the adjoining open-plan science area. Looking forward to the new host too as I felt the last one made it a bit like a vehicle for her stand-up comedy routine.

I love the detail on the boat and also loved the postbox. The water fountain was also good - I agree the wall let it down.

I don't really like this task. Black and white does nothing for them. I liked the water pump. The boat is good.

Really looking forward to raku next week. I think it was close between Miles and Josh to go this week - loved the boat although I think it would have looked even better with a bit more of the glaze wiped off.

Not sure Josh should have gone. Miles was last in the challenge & I didn't like the apple with random bits stuck in it.

Loved the boat. But Nick is one of our favourites anyway because he's a tech / props guy for Doctor Who.

Cellan is lovely. I want to adopt him.

I imagine there was some heated debate about which it them should go. I suppose Miles might have got bonus marks for rescuing his in such a short space of time.

I think that shows in the attention to detail in his pottery.

The apple was a strange choice (would a tree maybe have worked better?) but I'm glad Miles stayed over Josh.
