As there isn't a lot of traction on individual threads I thought I'd create a generic thread as most of us seem fond of a few.

Loving the New Jersey trailer released today. Teresa is back to her table crashing ways. She seemed so chilled on the ultimate girls trip as well !

Watched the first episode of the new NJ and Teresa’s new boyfriend - the minute he strutted up at her pool party, I got Giudice vibes. He’s another wrong un and she’s going to go into overdrive defending him. Just like Joe.

Unfortunately, this will be Jennifer’s season. The bravado and nasty comebacks will be gone as we realise that the plastic surgery, the slut shaming, they boasting, the house is all a front for a very unhappy person in an unhappy marriage. She’s always hitting below the belt so it’s no surprise that Marge went straight in about Bill cheating.

I’m really looking forward to NJ. Last NY was blah and I can’t stand Erika so couldn’t wait for BH to end.

Watched the NJ new episode today. Jennifer's nose!!

I don't like Teresa's new boyfriend so far.

I have always hated RHONJ but for some reason, I am watching the latest season.

Teresa's boyfriend is really unpleasant and creepy. Her daughter Gia is really unpleasant. That whole family with their plastic Italian vibe makes me cringe.

But Jennifer. Her nose. OMG.

My favourite NJ housewife is Dolores by a mile.
She has great style. She wares the most beautiful dresses that enhance her curves. She isn't stick thin like some of them and all the more beautiful for it.

With NJ I just don't understand why Marg is calling Jen a hypocrite because Jen said it was wrong for Marg to have an affair when she was married.

Jen is a apparently a hypocrite because her own husband also had an affair.

I'm sorry, isn't that a probable reason why Jen was so upset Marg had an affair during her marriage. Surely it makes more sense and Marg should be saying I guess that's why she was so offended.

Really love Delores but I didn't like how she told Jen to pull herself together and stop crying. I think she was annoyed at Jen getting Frank involved with the whole Jackie/ Evan thing. However, I seem to recall it being aired as a discussion at Poker night that Frank did know who Evan reputedly had an affair with

@happilybemused totally agree with you on Marge calling Jen a hypocrite...she would be if SHE (Jen) had the affair but she didn't. I also didn't think Jen calling mutal friends and Frank for a bit of gossip warrants such an attack on her when she is clearly fragile. Is she a stirrer and a bit savage in arguments, yep but that's what keeps HW's going. The fact that Jen didn't tell anyone at the time probably makes it so much worse for her because not only does she have to tell her kids but also her friends and family.

I think Jen has been pretty vile during her time in the show. Marg wasn’t “right” in what she did, but I also kind of understand it.

When Jen has attacked people, not all of it has come from her hidden hurt. It seems like she was enthusiastically digging for dirt on Jackie (hey, it’s normal to be curious!)

For those reasons, I don’t have any sympathy for Jen. Over previous seasons, she has been in your face vile.

Yes, I feel sympathy for what transpired in the latest episode. To go through that, days before giving birth, must have been horrific. But her behaviour, over a number of seasons, never shows her in a good light with regards to friendships.

Personalky, I think she should leave the show. Not because of all the “drama” etc. I think it would be the best thing for her with regards to her well being. I think this season is going to be interesting, but I’m starting to question my enjoyment of these franchises - it’s taken a while, but am becoming more uncomfortable with them.

Jackie was heartbreaking talking about her eating disorder this week on RHONJ. I could identify with everything she said. Her husband was amazing.

I must say I was not a fan of Jackie but she's lovely this season. She clearly understands that the entire group ganging up on an individual is not a good look.

RHOC is the same in that I am loving Shannon and I think now she's happy she's actually fun.

Noella is a nightmare, the vagina stack. I couldn't even figure out how it works and not prepared to Google it

RHOSLC - Shocked that I'm beginning to like Lisa. Mary should have stayed in her closet as interacting with the outside world was not great. There is definitely something off about Meredith and Seth. Lisa definitely has the information.

Oh, please. That was the most inauthentic scene ever. Evan looked like he was ready to jump into the Hudson. Jackie is very desperate to be on Housewives and has been for a loooong time.

I actually know Luis in real life and he’s a lot more normal and personable than he’s coming across on the show. He is very Jersey though.

You’ve lost me. I haven’t changed my name and I can guarantee you don’t know who I am as this is the first time I’ve commented on a RH thread. I wasn’t arguing with anyone. I just don’t like Jackie which is also just my opinion. Sorry if that was misinterpreted as something else.

@happilybemused i was imagining the vagina stack as a sculpture when they first started talking about it until I saw the picture on her phone! I hope she is a one season HW. Gorgeous girl to look at but very unlikeable and not even in an entertaining way. Also I want to like Dr Jen but something feels off about her, although the clip of her getting wasted next week looks fun!

Jersey - felt like a bit of a filler episode. I hate it when not much happens until the last 30 seconds then it all kicks off. I like Delores but she was wrong to kick off - Jackie wasn't even saying it in a bad way just that D is closer to Marge (which Marge actually said herself the second she walked over). Sometimes I wonder how D could have been friends with someone like Tre for so long then she kicks off like that and it makes more sense.

I thought at first she was saying sack of vaginas and really couldn't work it out.

I thought Jackie was sincere in talking about her eating disorder. My favourite bit of NJ is when the men go out, they actually seem to like each other and enjoy spending time together.

I agree that I thought Jackie was sincere about her eating disorder. I wish she could channel her inner NeNe 🙁

Just watched the final episode of SL and it was weak! First half I spent most of it on my phone (memorial for heather's dad, Merediths photo shoot and Whitney's 'sexy' time with Justin), the party was more interesting but Jenny runied it. Her over the top screaming at Mary was so fake and came out of nowhere, it felt like she just wanted some camera time. Hopefully the reunion will be more interesting but I don't think the season warrants a 3 episode reunion - although I love Andy's suit.

It is a pity that they chose to only show the worst women of Jersey - and I’m not including Tessa and Karen in that - when the place must be filled with amazing women.

Karen shouldn’t have posted those messages but frankly? After seeing this week? She didn’t go far enough.

I’m with Tessa on this one. I wouldn’t want to be around people who mocked me on a special day and didn’t make me feel good about myself. Friends should make you feel good and you should make them feel good. It is all about being a better version of yourselves because your lives are enriched by others.

Life is too short to be with utter fuds. There. I said it again.

And if this is scripted (ahem) shame on most of you for making yourselves look so bad for a buck.

I am massively disappointed that Mary isn't at the reunion but I don't think they would have gone in on her as hard as she deserved. I am an atheist so don't have any real insights on Christianity but I thought her tagline for this season was incredibly offensive and seemed to be suggesting that Jesus was at her command! The footage from her church was also very disturbing and they could have done an hour long montage of all the disgraceful stuff she did and said this year.

Oooh! No detail yet on who’s in what - but having flicked through the Variety article, Andy “expects” Jill Zarin to be involved in the second show 👏
