As there isn't a lot of traction on individual threads I thought I'd create a generic thread as most of us seem fond of a few.

Loving the New Jersey trailer released today. Teresa is back to her table crashing ways. She seemed so chilled on the ultimate girls trip as well !

For some reason they are reminding me of Carrie Bradshaw et Al. And I found myself wondering if SJP is a friend of Jenna Lyons. I wonder why she’s doing it she doesn’t need the money. I like her though. I cringed when they started trying her clothes on.

The one who dropped out is a proper outspoken Jewish lady I wonder if it was the one in the last season. That dreadful Friday night dinner when one of them got plastered and emptied themselves in the garden or, am I dreaming that??

I didn't like Jenna but yes she is Carrie Bradshaw type New Yorker it seems. I will keep watching but it seems very scripted, which it didn't used to feel.

Im on episode 2 now. I like the fact that you never see any make up artists or hair stylists on this one. Not that Im saying they all do their own make up. Im enjoying it but I hope its not too dull for some people. I could just watch their properties and the buildings all day. I wonder what the Hamptons is really like? Why is it such a destination it looks chock o block from the air. Where is Montauk? as Ive always wanted to go there it doesnt look as snooty.

I really like the new cast so far. They seem a lot more like the NY I know than Ramona, etc. but then I've never been a big fan of the UES.

@EachandEveryone The Hamptons are absolutely shit in my opinion! The waves, people and culture are all insane. No one needs a Louis Vuitton store when they're at the beach. Montauk is at the very end and was always regarded as a bit more boho but that's not true anymore.

Im a huge Rufus Wainwright fan and he’s always at his place there. I imagine he bought it when it was still boho.

Yes, really liking NY. I thought I wouldn’t but I’m really glad they made a clean sweep. Hopefully that might scare other Housewives into sorting out drab seasons <looking at you Orange County>

NY wives always have the best surgery it makes them stand out from the rest because its always really subtle. They seem to have more class but I hope they arent going to be boring.

I’ve just finished watching the latest season of New Jersey. Jeez, Louie sets off all my buttons - I can’t find a single redeeming quality about him. He creeps me out and infuriates me in equal measure!

And I loved the various reactions to Teresa’s wedding hair 🤣

Teresa’s wedding hair was the most grotesque and ugly thing I’ve ever seen! She’s so alarming looking; why did she choose to make herself even worse?

And Louis is SO creepy. This marriage is a publicity stunt.

Re RHONY. I really like Erin. She seems like my kind of friend. Like Jenna (but suspect we're supposed to) and love Ubah. Not so keen on Jessel, Sai and Brynn. The competitive poverty whilst growing up is getting a bit old already.

I can't stand Louis, makes my skin crawl for some reason. Really also dislike Teresa, such a pig headed woman who can never see anyone else's view

they are in the show every now & then but only really in terms of arguing with her brother which is sad

Gia graduated this summer with honors from Rutgers, Gabriella is about to go to UMich and Milania and Audriana are 17 and 13. What did you actually want them to make of themselves at this point?! 😂

Really enjoying New York housewives latest season. A really interesting group of women. Quite refreshing from a lot of the different housewives series. No old history that is regurgitated every season. No out and out baddies yet. Early days but very promising.

Yes I’m enjoying it too. It reminds me more of the very old days of RHONYC when everyone worked an honest job for a living and actually were inspirational. They all having amazing skin and love to know how it is that rich women seem to flawless skin. I’m not talking fillers etc. I just hope it doesn’t get too boring as only half of them drink. I know how terrible that sounds.

I’m quickly going off Erin. Do you think Jenna would get that treatment on the NHS, how much must it be costing her? I hated the way they all turned on her.

I don’t think the wealth is necessarily there with this lot appart from Jenna, I mean the over the top wealth that some of them normally have.

also I know it shouldn’t make a difference but half of them don’t drink and I don’t know if this is making them boring? They also clearly don’t know each other before hand.
