Won't say which wife to avoid a spoiler but one of them was awarded a 30 thousand dollars A MONTH payment from their DH by the divorce judge, which the housewife thought was too much so agreed for it to be reduced to 22.5 thousand a month . Jesus how much money do these people earn?!

Does that have to cover mortgage/rent and peivate school fees though. OC is expensive, you dont live there unless you earn a LOT

Totally agree.

But assuming he would be left with similar himself that's still one hell of a high income

I think Jen gave Heather her black eye. Jen is awful. I used to like her before this terrible case. I don’t think a lot of people were surprised about what she did. Does anyone know what prison sentence her assistant Stuart got?

Assuming we are talking about the same couple ( the one im thinking of i know media talked about 30K in the temporary payments but she said it was around 20 and the final figure was 10K once the process was settled and they sorted who was paying schooling etc I think - plus over a million in lump payment! ) going by the house they built there is plenty of money, his company has v lucrative contracts

Just finishing Vancouver first series, only 2 though. Quite enjoyed it as there was one housewife who was really awful. Last episode is a classic.

I mix up Vancouver and Toronto. But is the last episode you are talking about ‘the mad hatters tea party?’ If so, it has to be the best episode of any RH show ever. I was laughed until I cried. Although getting to that point there was a lot of bullying of Mary in previous episodes. I think that’s why the show was probably cancelled.

Are we talking about Elizabeth Vargas or Shannon with the 30k a month settlement.

I assumed it meant Shannon as there was a lot of speculation but she confirmed later it was nearer to 10k a month.

David Beador was awful to her hence I said she deserved every penny.

Elizabeth Vargas I can't really remember but I do recall her receiving a large divorce settlement. I don't think we ever saw her husband so no real opinion on that one.

As I said up thread I was avoiding using names to prevent spoilers as quite a few people have said they are going to start watching. I only know what was said straight after the hearing, I've still a few series to go so avoid googling any updates

Its mad money to us normals but if you see their house when she entered RHOC and when they have parties etc to have put in custom built/designed everything from scratch in a house that size in OC means serious income (all i can ever think of is the cleaning in those mansions but its not like 'the housewives' do it!)

@RockingMyFiftiesNot I really wouldn't worry about spoilers for Elizabeth Vargas. It isn't a spoiler that she was getting a divorce because she joined the show in the middle of getting one. All spoken about the day she started filming.

We never saw her husband on screen and I can't remember anything about her.

I thought you meant Shannon Beador and David. Again, no spoilers when watching. She joined whilst he was having numerous affairs.

@Morestrangethings Yes Vancouver. Everyone turned on Jodie at the tea party. I was cheering all the way! Horrendous woman. I'm in the middle of season 2 and she's still picking on Mary questioning her sanity. Apparently there was no reunion after season 2 finished either.

Love Miami and love Nicole, shes well able for the bullshit of the rest of them, i dont know why they try to come for her (though I suspect jealousy of her sucess and independence is a big factor), they just show themselves up. Todds behaviour was ridiculous in the restaurant

Well they all seemed to be getting on OK in the Bahamas and now Marisol's turned up so I can see that disintegrating very quickly.

I love the energy, the colourfulness, the sunshine of the Miami franchise.

The clothes! I thought their make-up looked fabulous for that last meal in the Bahamas. They all looked gorgeous.

She was much nicer in earlier seasons too.
