Here's the line-up.

I couldn't see a thread so thought I'd start one.

I know 7/10, which is pretty good for me!

Persecution complex ! Yes, this person I know has this. Brilliant explanation.
' they all have it in for me !'

MrsJackRackham · 23/11/2021 22:45

Lol at Whiny Boy, makes you wonder if it was his nan that named him Naughty Boy because there's nothing edgey whatsoever about the guy. He just seems a bit of a drip.

TitsInAbsentia · 23/11/2021 22:47

@the80sweregreat

Food stylist !! 😂 ' put that dead critter over there ' ' no , there ! ' Bet they get a fortune too

Honestly NB is a Mardy toddler this shows been going years surkythey know what they are up for he will get voted every trial now liking Richard when didn’t think I would but Danny thought would like but seems a bit fake

JaneJeffer · 23/11/2021 22:54

OMG Adam is a tonic.

jay55 · 23/11/2021 22:55

Did drippy boy really expect the other team to lose on purpose?

The venom against main vamp was bizarre. And so self involved, like they were plotting against him.

And interesting there was moaning about washing up, usually celebs say they were happy to have something to do, as there are long stretches of boredom.

LagneyandCasey · 23/11/2021 22:58

Lack of sleep, food, comfort, warmth and family is probably not helping their mood and rational thought. Arlene is 78 so I'll cut her some slack and NB's mum is probably on his mind. It's edited too, they might only have complained for a few minutes that day.

I've a feeling the 'confrontation' will be a damp squib. They looked happy enough when Ant & Dec walked in with the vote results. NB will feel better now that he didn't get voted for the trial and hopefully Arlene will feel better with other women to support her and a comfier bed.

JacquelineCarlyle · 23/11/2021 23:18

I enjoyed it - love David Ginola, Richard and Snoochie!

I want it to be a fun camp rather than lots of winging and moaning, so hopefully we'll see lots of laughs when they're all back together as the ones in main camp seem like a good laugh and along with Richard and David, that means the fun people will be in the majority (& hopefully that'll raise the others up too!)

StormyCornishSeas · 23/11/2021 23:27

You can tell Richard was an agony uncle in the Saturday Telegraph

In Australia it must be hard to be hungry but at least your fairly warm. But in wales where your hungry cold and constantly damp must be even harder

watchingrnfire · 23/11/2021 23:56

I think what got to naughty boy was the comment smoochie made about her winning against him in the first challenge, he was already feeling like they picked him as they must think he's the weakest link. Her comment confirmed it for him.
There was no need for her to make that comment so abruptly, and then starts saying 'We', no wonder he got annoyed with her.

WildFlowerBees · 24/11/2021 00:00

@MrsJackRackham

IT'S ONLY BEEN 48 HOURS!!! Arlene is Miserable Smurf. Swear to god.

😆😆

Riverlee · 24/11/2021 07:36

Smoothie is coming across as lovely, and Richard as the voice of reason, the fatherly figure in the camp.

What I feel they are missing this year, though, is the comic element. They don’t have a comedian in there, such as Shane Richie.

LadyCatStark · 24/11/2021 07:47

They definitely need to make it more fun. I know it’s meant to be tough, but after the year we’ve had we need some light entertainment not a load of whingers.

butterpuffed · 24/11/2021 08:21

I'd only vaguely heard of Naughty Boy [Sulky Boy] , had never seen him before. I thought he was very young and his behaviour only confirmed it. Looked him up and he's 37 in January !!! So there's no excuse Shock

PrincessScarlett · 24/11/2021 08:24

Jordan North has just been on Radio 1 sticking up for Danny.

the80sweregreat · 24/11/2021 08:34

Richard Madeley has always been very pragmatic and realistic , he was like it on this morning years ago.
His an Essex boy , so I'm a bit biased though to be fair!

LagneyandCasey · 24/11/2021 09:14

Yes there's no one funny in there this year. Shane jumping out on Jordan last year was brilliant. David showed a bit of a mischievous side in the first episode but I think hunger and being stuck in the clink with the miserable ones has dampened that.

TokyoSushi · 24/11/2021 09:20

It's all just a bit boring and miserable this year...

DobbyTheHouseElk · 24/11/2021 10:20

I knew Richard would be good. He’s very caring. He does speak before thinking sometimes which is when he drops a clanger on TV. Judy used to roll her eyes so much at him.

He is kind and I don’t think the conditions will get to him. He knows it’s a game, knows it’s TV. He is probably chatting to the crew in the dull moments.

I think he will be in the final few along with Louise and David.

Naughty boy is really not naughty and more vulnerable boy. This might not help his career. I don’t know how he is so I might be wrong.

Ilovefluffysheep · 24/11/2021 11:10

I actually think David contributed massively to how low Naughty Boy was feeling. He was pretty passive aggressive towards him in their challenge, didn't congratulate him or anything, or comfort him/agree with him when he said he did his best (which he clearly did). Then said basically that they'd have won it if he'd have been running up and down the stairs.

No idea why they decided to have him in the cage and Naughty Boy doing the running, would have made far more sense for David as an athlete to do the running.

Maybe Naughty Boy is overly sensitive, but I think a few kinder/better chosen words from David afterwards would have made him feel much better afterwards. I didn't think David came across at all well during and after that challenge with his attitude to Naughty Boy, so he got all my votes for the trial (but sadly it's Richard who got it, not him).

As for Arlene, she's 78, cold, hungry and miserable, so I can understand why she's got on a bit of a downer. I guess it depends on your personality to some extent, but if one person is really down (NB), it doesn't take a lot for others to be brought down either.

Be interesting tonight to see what the pair of them do actually say to the main camp.

37!!! I thought he was about 25 😂😂 I've gone off him now can't stand the moaning. I'm liking Richard (didn't think I would ever say that)and David🥰

The side eye look of blame and contempt in the post trail interview from david was intense
RainbowZebraWarrior · 24/11/2021 12:18

It was Daveeed who said he would go in the cage. I know he looks fit and does his press ups etc. But he did have a heart attack that nearly killed him!

RainbowZebraWarrior · 24/11/2021 12:24

Sorry pressed too soon...

As a result, he had a quadruple heart bypass a few years ago as a result.

I'm a die hard Geordie and love him very much. He was made very welcome in my Cith, and was gracious in return. I've met him and he is a nice bloke. I don't think it would occur ro him however lovely he is though to tread on eggshells around a fully grown 37 year old man. If NB is that fragile, he really should not be in there.

the80sweregreat · 24/11/2021 12:33

D G was once a top flight footballer and legions of fans and has that killer touch , NB isn't as well known and has been sheltered from a lot in life ( is my guess , anyway !)
I think that he would come across as a bit abrasive to him, but maybe he is just fed up with the moaning and one of those who won't tolerate too much self pity ?
My Dh is like this! It's tough , but don't expect any sympathy from him. I've Learnt that the hard way over the years.
