I actually think David contributed massively to how low Naughty Boy was feeling. He was pretty passive aggressive towards him in their challenge, didn't congratulate him or anything, or comfort him/agree with him when he said he did his best (which he clearly did). Then said basically that they'd have won it if he'd have been running up and down the stairs.
No idea why they decided to have him in the cage and Naughty Boy doing the running, would have made far more sense for David as an athlete to do the running.
Maybe Naughty Boy is overly sensitive, but I think a few kinder/better chosen words from David afterwards would have made him feel much better afterwards. I didn't think David came across at all well during and after that challenge with his attitude to Naughty Boy, so he got all my votes for the trial (but sadly it's Richard who got it, not him).
As for Arlene, she's 78, cold, hungry and miserable, so I can understand why she's got on a bit of a downer. I guess it depends on your personality to some extent, but if one person is really down (NB), it doesn't take a lot for others to be brought down either.
Be interesting tonight to see what the pair of them do actually say to the main camp.
