rubberduck they are being unnaturally nice to her. i thought she was on the way out but has pulled through well so far. nobody has died for ages.

fishie Ruth had breast reconstruction surgery to make her feel more womanly and her mum (who I think may end up with alistair's dad) is coming back to look after things.

sorry just realised didnt finish sentence (half watching rugby) - basically where annabel left it was that she wasnt having any of matt as didnt believe everything sorted with lilian and it was business only.

I think he must have olivia - have only just got back into it (thanks to the podcast) but lilian was mentioning some woman called jade who he had dallied with. And I think he was still married when he met lilian.

I was thinking Will should give Nic driving lessons and stop her whinging. (do you reckon she'll change the direct debit for her "allowance" he's going to give her and run off and leave him penniless or something?)

I do love lilian though - how matt can lust after the dreary annabel (since when has knowing about planning consent been alluring) I don't know.

Am also feeling for jenny - she is not happy about brian's plans to change his will for ruaridh. Made some comment about how do you know he wont be like his mother -she had a habit of going after things that didn't belong to her... Quite mean for the usually restrained jenny.

Oh I feel quite sorry for Nic, but then I can identify with not knowing anyone when you have young kids with a partner working long hours. It wouldn't surprise me if she was suffering depression ... or we at least get some dramatic showdown/breakdown storyline. I think it would really suck being chief carer of 2 little ones and often a 3rd with no adult you get on with to talk to about it occasionally.

Plus, not having control of your own money would suck.

If I was her I'd be tempted to investigate alternative accommodation back in a town, work out a way to earn enough to cover childcare and give herself some control again and get out pronto. What sort of a relationship is it where you can't talk to your partner, he works stupid hours AND expects you to look after his kid from another relationship without spending any time with that kid himself. Think Will is being very very blind and stupid.

or maybe there'll be a plotline where nic falls for ed - its quite clear that they are seeting up the plotline that poor old fallon is going to come a cropper here

I'm quite enjoying the fact that Annabel seems to see right through Matt... what a pratt he's being atm.

Is anyone else really bored of the anerobic digester plotline? I mean it was obvious they were going to piss people off with it - just seems so drearily predictable.

I do confess to kind of hoping Lillian would have a freak accident with the paella pan...

Hope this hasn't been said, but how come Nic could manage to support her kids, new shoes etc before she met Will, and now needs money from him?

do we think they are trying to make will into a baddy for snatching no1 the green from roy and hayley?

nic had debt hence bailiffs and moving in with will. don't know what has happened with her benefits, hasn't been mentioned.

inheritance from scottish great aunt, bequest made before ed was born so more grundy brotherly angst.

It just doesn't seem to have occurred to Will, but I think if it was me getting an inheritance made before my sister was born I would automatically go halves.
Spose it's a bit different if they "stole" your DP tho'

and bundle, it will all get really nasty as said aunt didn't change her will after Edwood was born so Willyum got it all. Clarrie was V upset when it all came out.

Nic is such a whiny thing. I feel for her taken into a village etc etc etc but she doesn't make it easy on herself.
