I think he's coming back for Elizabeth's wedding to yer man Vern. Used to dislike Vern but now Jim's back Vern seems so much more pleasant, so he does.

Monkey, I believe Corrie is filmed in advance and I'm also under the impression that wedding is due before Christmas. Therefore leaving enough time for the Z listers to do Corrie and then get to the provinces for panto rehearsals. I might be wrong though, so I might.
