I'm full of cold and want to lie under a blanket watching something that makes me laugh. Help me please.

Loved League of Gentlemen, Physcoville, Hunderby, Mandy etc. Don't mind dark but must make me laugh.

TIA.

Ghosts on iplayer is my favourite, pkus each one is only 20 mind, perfect when you're not feeling great

MikeWozniaksMohawk · 20/10/2021 18:25

Ghosts is good as PP said.

Always Sunny in Philadelphia. What we do in the Shadows. Stath Lets Flats. Derry Girls.

They are the first ones that spring to mind.

PurpleDaisies · 20/10/2021 18:26

Parks and recreation. Stick with it because it’s a slow starter but absolutely hilarious.

DrHildegardeLanstrom · 20/10/2021 18:27

Seinfeld is now on Netflix

MarmiteyCrumpets · 20/10/2021 18:27

Arrested Development (the first three seasons)

The Smoking Room

The original UK version of The Office

Father Ted

Suprima · 20/10/2021 18:27

Peep show on repeat

DrHildegardeLanstrom · 20/10/2021 18:28

Him and Her

Bearsbearsbears40 · 20/10/2021 18:29

I agree with pp - It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia - weird but funny. Also, Curb Your Enthusiasm.

MonkeyPuddle · 20/10/2021 18:29

Brassic. Laugh out loud funny but deals with some deep stuff.

EineReiseDurchDieZeit · 20/10/2021 18:29

Ted Lasso
Hacks
Good Place
Parks And Rec
Schitts Creek

TheVanguardSix · 20/10/2021 18:34

Chewing Gum.
I'm rewatching it actually. Michaela Coel's comedic timing and facial expressions are just pure genius.

Curb Your Enthusiasm- as mentioned above- is niche but brilliant. Larry David is the trainwreck you can't look at, yet end up rubbernecking.

Bloodypunkrockers · 20/10/2021 18:36

Ghosts

Friday Night Dinner

Murder in Successville is a little known gem but guaranteed to make you laugh

Oblahdeeoblahdoe · 20/10/2021 18:37

I'm poorly atm and have been binge watching Modern Family on Netflix. Never fails to make me laugh even though it's years old.

Theregoesmyhomebirth · 20/10/2021 18:38

Have you watched Inside No.9? Made by the League/Psychoville trio.

Fridgebotherer · 20/10/2021 18:40

Motherland. Just bingeing it on iPlayer. so funny but so true!. Only a few days left to watch it so you'll have no choice but to slob out and watch the lot. Grin

Bearsbearsbears40 · 20/10/2021 18:51

Totally forgot about Friday Night Dinner! Would definitely recommend.

eandz13 · 20/10/2021 18:53

Dead to Me. Really dark, deals with serious stuff but hilarious at the same time

devildeepbluesea · 20/10/2021 18:53

I second Friday Night Dinner and Parks and Rec.

An oldie, and a bit more obscure - but darker than midnight - is Nighty Night

FAQs · 20/10/2021 18:54

BBC The Cleaner is quite dark but I found it really funny!

notacooldad · 20/10/2021 18:55

What we do in the shadows.
There's a film and a TV series.

Standrewsschool · 20/10/2021 18:55

Mrs Browns Boys (controversial on mn)

Shakespeare and Hathaway (on iplayer) - a gentle, detective story, good comfort tv series

mamaduckbone · 20/10/2021 18:56

Friday Night Dinner and Ghosts for definite.
The End of the F*ing World is quite dark but brilliant.

bakingdemon · 20/10/2021 18:56

Derry Girls.
