I am on episode 5 and can understand why it is popular, but it is one of the most violent series I have ever seen. For those that have watched it what did you think?

I'm also not finding it quite as horrific as I'd heard it would be. I remember there used to be lots of old westerns on telly when I was a child in the 70s; scores of people shot dead. Likewise in older James Bond films, heaps of violent death left right and centre. These were on telly in the afternoons!

DH and I are on episode 5 now too, strangely enough. Really enjoying it. The old man is adorable.

I thought it great, the Tug of War episode in particular - so well paced and tense.

The VIPs were jarring compared to the acting from the others

I did sub titles too - far better

Yeah it's violent but not terribly so! American Horror Story is 100 times more gruesome in almost every season!

Watched the first episode with the dubbing and couldn’t bear it, terrible voiceovers. Switched to original Korean with subtitles for the rest and it was much better!

I agree that the VIP acting was atrocious! Why did they all sound Texan?

Yes, finished now, and finding him somewhat less adorable!
