Home and Away thread: everyone to Salt for one of Ryder's cocktails

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 17/09/2021 07:23

New thread here so that we can continue discussing everything important in the Bay: who is hotter - new police officer or potential new doctor? Will new doctor BE new doctor or was that brief superhero moment all we get?

Will Tori and Christian ever get married and by now, how many of us really care? And what next for the Tane/Ziggy/Dean triangle?

Grab a seat, place your cocktail orders, hope that Annoying Chloe doesn't show up, and get chatting!

Yeah it's moving to 6pm on 5star. So we have to choose between our "favourite child" 😂

Is anyone else finding Theo totally annoying. It's even worse when he's on screen with Chloe. I can't do with either of them!

strugglingwithlife · 03/11/2021 20:05

I never watch home and away when it's on now, don't have time with a toddler, I watch it on My5 when she's gone to bed.
I don't like Theo, disliked him as soon as he arrived tbh.
Logan is quite hot! Cash doesn't do it for me

Matilda2013 · 03/11/2021 20:21

Isn’t it still 6.30pm on 5star for the day ahead?
But will only show on channel 5 at 1.15pm

EBearhug · 03/11/2021 20:35

So we have to choose between our "favourite child"

Think it will be My5 here.

Mu understanding is that Neighbours will be 6pm on 5, and H&A will be 6pm on 5*. I think the lunchtime showings on 5 remain unchanged. But it's difficult to know, because when I assume Ziggy and Dean are telling us, it's all silent, and I can't lipread...

Starburst8 · 03/11/2021 20:47

I think the lunchtime slots on 5 remain unchanged.
The episode that shown at 6:30pm on 5star remains the same.

SleepingStandingUp · 03/11/2021 21:45

I series link it all and watch when I can.

Glad there's less competition for Cash.

CurbsideProphet · 03/11/2021 22:55

I've always had it series linked at lunchtime so I didn't register at first that they're dropping the teatime repeat.

Oh god yes Theo and Chloe are just unbearable 😬 Theo is such a cheesy wannabe bad boy. Driving around like he's a new River Boy.

EBearhug · 03/11/2021 23:04

They're not dropping it, they're moving it to 5Star.

TheOnlyLivingBoyInNewCross · 04/11/2021 07:09

Theo needs a Braxton (or Ash) to return to the Bay just for the purpose of punching him.

Then he and Chloe can leave because of the sheer embarrassment and - crucially - NEVER RETURN.

That sounds like a plan but he already had a beating and still walking around like he's Mr Big.
I'm finding his attitude around Leah disturbing. Is he jealous of her relationship with Justin? He just seems to play up when she's with Justin - that's not normal behaviour for a nephew surely.

Has nobody told Tori that Birmingham is not in London?

SleepingStandingUp · 04/11/2021 17:28

Oh I missed that one
SleepingStandingUp · 04/11/2021 17:28

Australians must look at tiny England though and assume anywhere is commutable lol

KatieKat88 · 05/11/2021 07:02

I guess it is commutable by train if you had to but I wouldn't want to - plus when will she ever see Grace?!

strugglingwithlife · 05/11/2021 10:08

When I was in Australia I was talking to a girl who said she was coming to the UK for a holiday soon and could I show her around London. I said I don't know London and live over two hours from it. She was surprised and said she thought London was basically on the doorstep of everyone here and that everyone in UK knew London well. I said compared to Oz we are tiny, but not that tiny!

HesterLee · 05/11/2021 10:39

Yes the scale is obviously so different. It's just the way the poor woman keeps gasping "London". The postcode they used is Birmingham Children's Hospital so she's also not aware she changing specialities Grin

strugglingwithlife · 05/11/2021 12:22
Grin
thesparkthatbled · 05/11/2021 14:45

It actually makes a change to see a character being freaked out by having to move in a short space of time. Usually they're like, oh yeah I'm off to Timbuktu, and I leave... tomorrow! See ya!
No stress around packing up their whole lives or anything.

Oh my, the Martha "Oction" story line, what a yawn fest.

Omg I'm so excited!! We go there, maybe she's our new doctor!!

TBf there's an A&E at BCH...

HesterLee · 05/11/2021 20:34

Oh wouldn't it be lovely to have Tori as your doctor. Although I think I would prefer Logan!

SleepingStandingUp · 05/11/2021 20:45

Yeah, we'd compare baby notes. Grace is a similar age to my twins, I never see her talking either!!

strugglingwithlife · 05/11/2021 21:19

Yep and similar age to my daughter too. She's 2 next month

SleepingStandingUp · 05/11/2021 22:23

You could come I've for a play date / joint birthday party

Rummikub · 05/11/2021 22:29

I missed the birmingham reference.

I’m
Confused with the time changes- lunchtime same. But evening neighbours is on at 6 on 5. And I assumed home and away at 630 on 5?

EBearhug · 05/11/2021 23:25

Channel 5, 6pm - Neighbours.
5 Star - 6pm H&A, 6:30pm, H&A new episode.

Lunchtime episodes on Channel 5 remain as they currently are. Plus all should be available on My5.
