I'll give it a go then, thanks. So when I stopped watching Theo and Chloe were still together - so she's been shipped off, Cash has been injured, the band is still annoying - have I missed anything else? To be fair I only really care about Irene, John, Alf and Dean and Ziggy at this point!

John- he's hating having the band Oving next door 😂
Alf - currently splitting time between Merimbula and home so no Martha
Dean and Ziggy - but if conflict over her being friendly with Remi

Ooh I’m intrigued with this new Heather person and her link to Marilyn. I do like a good baddie and there hasn’t been one for ages. The only thing I can think of that links Marilyn to a baby being taken from its mum is when she wanted Nicole’s baby but that doesn’t fit. But I haven’t been watching all the way through so there might be a storyline I missed somewhere. I do love Marilyn though and the thought of someone being mean to her makes me sad. Haha.
Also, I think the scriptwriters have never watched a band play have they? All those cheesy smiles they give each other when they’re playing, no band I’ve ever seen has done that and it’s realllly annoying! (I know Theo and Kirby are making faces at one another as part of the plot but they’ve been all doing these stupid faces at one another since the start).

I've sort of caught up with this week but am slightly distracted with my new viewing companion 👶🏻
The Marilyn and Heather storyline has thrown me. According to the birth certificate Heather conveniently showed to camera she is the daughter of Marilyn, who was 25 and a housekeeper at the time Heather was born? So why not the usual happy surprise reunion? Why isn't Heather overjoyed to find her birth mum? This isn't the usual way of Summer Bay family reunions!

I'm a bit behind this week but I'd assumed she blamed Marilyn for giving her up? Maybe not knowing the full details of what happened. I might be wrong though, there could be more twists to the story.

Pawport - I think they’ve retconned Marilyn’s narrative in that this housekeeping job and the birth of a baby she had to give up have literally never been mentioned or hinted at as part of Marilyn’s story before in the show.

I've not seen it but knew who's kid she was. She mentioned boarding school and a Mom who liked her own space so I'm thinking unhappy childhood

I watched today's episode after missing a couple of weeks. Hopefully things will move on now that this storyline is nearly over. All I need is for the band to leave and I'll be happy 😂

It's a bit early for the Christmas break. I'll definitely watch the old episodes!

Last year there were two "end of season" style stories. One for us (now) and own for Aus (soon but different storyline) so I think they just pause it at the dramatic bit wherever it falls

Anyone watched any of the old episodes on My5? The one when Meg dies has me 😭I remember that from when I was a kid and it was so sad
