I was saying that yesterday - currently a couple of episodes behind but the one I was watching, he was just frowning and scowling and sulking like a little kid while Tane was trying to manage this really dangerous interaction with the bikies. I was like - jeez, Nik - read the room!

I think the age inappropriate fling is with Theo. How old ARE the band members??

I don’t know but she looks a fair bit older than him. Shockingly the actors are similar ages! - mid-20s.

He looks much younger than her.

I quite like ziggy with the guitarist. But still want dean and ziggy together. Are there any happily married/ together couples?

I'm not interested at all in the band / Ziggy sneakily trying to find them a van / Theo and Thingy giving each other the eyes / one of them working at Salt / them living next door to John.

i do like John and Irene’s friendship. And would like to see more of this.

I would like to see more interaction between Marilyn and John. I mean they were married and now see each other a lot and anyone new would never know.

They could do with another family. The Astoni’s were the last family?

Oh they did similar with Roo’s love interest / Ryder’s uncle(?) - he wanted to be alone to die too

Roo went with him tho, she was with him to the end. Thsts why she was so conflicted when his twin bro then showed up

That storyline confused me at the time. Ryder is Roo’s nephew. His dad is the twin of Roo’s husband?
And Roo fell for the twin? Who died?

It's gone fairly shite at the moment. Making a drama out of ziggy helping someone buy a van, Marilyn ripping the little strips of Roo's flyer. FFS. Meanwhile another main character is critical after being shot and all act like they don't care.

And what have they done to poor Roo's career. She was a big shot in New York for years and years, then transferred her event planning business back to Australia, then somehow moved into lecturing in the uni they had for a while, then became a secondary school teacher and then a part time bait shop /caravan park worker. And now she can't get anyone interested in a bit of tutoring.

Meanwhile the young people can magically go straight from school to hot shot photographer, famous model and now trainee mechanic turned rock star.

they need another focal point like a school. It was the hospital for awhile when Tori was on it but they can’t keep shooting people!

Definitely agree about Roo. I keep wondering why she doesn't set up her events business and do weddings at Salt or something. Instead she's just moping around because no-one wants her to be their tutor.

I didn't look for Monday's episode but watched yesterday's and saw Dean rescue Ziggy and annoying band guy.

It's unfortunate that I don't like Rose and Xander or the band at all, as they seem the main focus. Nik just says "but uncle" repeatedly with a clenched jaw.

Agree there needs to be another focal point. Perhaps the hospital is coming back into it with the new doctor? There definitely needs to be an injection of interest from somewhere.

Roo is half sister to Quinn, Ryders Mom. They share Daddy Alf.
Dad died with Roo by his side, the twin was a long lost brother.
And Roo fell for the twin? Who died
She got the feels for the DAD who died, and then got bigger feels for the twin (Uncle) but it was too complicated.

Yes the band and the new doc, it's def more focused on 20s/early 30s rather than the teen stuff of old.

No spoilers but I am looking forward to one Marilyn storyline, hopefully that'll jazz things up a bit.

I don’t think I watched when Quinn was in it.

She's done a dew cameos, she was a Vietnam baby from when Alf was in the Services so I don't think he knew about her

I find I’m keeping up just fine by watching every 2-3 eps. That said I am still a bit behind and the trailers seem to make a big Thing about Ziggy, Remi and the Van 🙄 I thought it might be the bikies’ mates showing up for a bit of revenge kidnapping or something.
Has that whole thing fizzled out with everyone neatly locked up then?
And yes, poor Cash - nobody (outside of Rose) seems to care. If ever there was an opening for Jazzy’s return … “oh baby, i thought I’d lost you foreverrrr”

Haha yeah it def seemed to imply either actual danger or sex 😂 instead it was just Dean being a bit worried and pissed off and Zig losing her car
