Poor Ryder with his panic attacks 😔 I actually agree a bit with Alf - Tho has been a pain since he arrived, deliberately winding up Ryder by flirting with Chloe and getting between them, lying to Leah and taking advantage of her good nature, ripping off Justin's customers by overcharging for work at the garage. Stealing the Polaris and abandoning it was a crime and he never apologised for it, just moaned that he didn't intend for it to run out of petrol.

Wait, how old is Ryder? Chloe is 20 isn't she so he must be similar? And Alf banned him from seeing Theo?! I do get Alf's point of view, Theo is a little shit, but you can't stop a 20 year old from seeing someone!
Actually, in general, Theo, Bella, Chloe, Nic, Ryder, they're all baby'd by the adults in their life aren't they. I would've put them more at 16/17 the way everyone treats them all.

Yeah, it's like they've moved away from being a teen soap, but still run the tearaway teen storylines, just with characters in their early 20s!

Me too, they need to bring the school back and have the actual teens getting into trouble and being bailed out/told off by their families, not actual adults! Whilst I'm on this rant, Bella can't be too much younger than Dean and Ziggy, yet she's living there rent free and being pandered to like a helpless annoying child.

It really annoys me that Bella doesn't try to make the best of her life and herself when you consider what Colby went through to save her from her murderous dad. Instead she gives up her burgeoning photography career and spends her days whinging about Logan.

I'm not sure that I was ready for that body!

I thought you meant a dead body 🤦🏼‍♀️😂 I was a few episodes behind so I've been bracing myself each episode for the dead body scene 😂 I was expecting dean's mum to turn up dead or for tane and nik to find a body in the bush.

@AnimalTheDrummer I wouldn't put it past the writers to spring another drama on Summer Bay 😂😂

Karen's beau Brett seems the most stable person ever to arrive in Summer Bay 😀

I’ve just caught up after a long break, followed by annoying technical issues with my tv!

I really hope Brett doesn’t have any weird/dodgy skeletons from his past - it would so good for Karen to have a happy ever after!

As for Logan - seems standard protocol for the head of ED at Northern Districts to run The Whole Hospital 🤷🏻‍♀️ either that or they’re severely understaffed and they’re all expected to “just muck in” where needed!

The Mia/Ari SL is very sad 😢 I wasn’t a big fan of him ditching poor Mac, but they were very sweet together.

And re the Young Ones - totally agree re Bella behaving like a tween, and Theo - they’re plenty old enough for proper jobs instead of getting in people’s way.

Thought Alf was a bit off, allowing Theo to get a criminal record before “coming to his senses” 🙄

I was also annoyed Ari dropped Mack so quickly, but the chemistry between Ari and Mia has felt very genuine 😔 Tane is properly stepping up to man of the family isn't he. I hope he and Felicity stay together.

The Brett and Karen storyline is a bit weird to me! Dean hasn't mentioned Karen for ages and suddenly he's helping with her love life and she's living with him temporarily.

To anyone watching tonights episode tonight --- have plenty of tissues ready! The wedding and aftermath is SO emotional - H&A really do these things well however unrealistic they may be..

I think Karen was meant to come back earlier but they had to shift storylines around due to the pandemic - something to do with keeping the set/cast as much of a bubble as possible, I guess.

The Parata storyline was just ridiculous - as if the cops would have just accepted that confession and let Mia off scott-free. But H&A do do a good tragedy, tbf.

Love the way Tane has matured.

Yes, they both went to get Nik when he took off.

The wedding, Mia looked stunning. The aftermath - I can't believe how sad it all is, they're all doing a great acting job.

I'm watching now. Very emotional 😔
