Does anyone else have a bit of a crush on Logan? Not do much looks - I thought he was a bit of a dick in the first few episodes and thought nothing of him. But now I’m getting heart eyes.

Ah I'm finding Chloe really annoying! She's known her mum her whole life, they seemed to have a great, close relationship. This guy turns up, she's known him for what, 5 minutes, and suddenly she's taking his side over Mia's. I know it must be difficult for her as Mia won't tell her the truth but surely you'd give the person who raised you and loves you the benefit of the doubt? Mathew is such a creepy creep too, uh!
I have a really bad feeling about where this storyline is going for Ari and Mia because where they used the stolen money to pay for the gym, that can't be the end of that storyline? I think there'll be comeuppance for them for that. Maybe Mathew will find out somehow..

I wish mia would just tell chloe the truth. Cloe has no redeeming qualities, except lovely teeth.

Yes it's so unbelievable that even if Mia didn't want to tell Chloe the truth she wouldn't say something like "I don't have positive memories of Matthew's behaviour or our time together".
Chloe is just unbearable.

I'm unclear on the rape allegation. Presume she didn't consider it rape at the time as he didn't know she did consider it that and his parents weren't supportive so they'd obv met parents etc to discuss. It's difficult. Twenty years ago, two teenagers got drunk and had sex, wouldn't have the same implications iyswim.

I think that at the time (and aged sixteen), Mia would have known that she was very drunk and that she hadn’t consented but would have thought she’d been asking for it and thus there was no point in speaking up. Because for those of us of her age and older, that’s what we did think. That if you got drunk when there were men around then then you have only yourself to blame if they have sex with you.

But now in the wake of all the much more open conversations about consent and what it means, she is probably looking back and recognising her experience for what it was. She’s clearly very upset and uncomfortable in his presence.

Also, H&A are probably keen to be giving out the right messages to their teen viewers - that what once seemed to be just one of those things that happened when teens get drunk can actually be rape even if no one names it as such.

I think this storyline is being played out responsibly (if that's the right word?). Mia recognises that she was too drunk to consent, but doesn't want Chloe to feel that she the product of rape and all that entails.
Matthew thinks Mia is getting het up about nothing because having sex while very drunk is "normal" as a teenager and he's definitely not a rapist.

I also thought they were both a bit older, not that it fundamentally matters obv but more in the typical age range of going out, getting drunk etc.

I didn’t think you were saying she asked for it at all - it was regarded very differently in the past, almost like one of those things. When I was a teenager, something like that would have just been brushed off with a “Well what did you expect to happen?”by males and females alike. Thank God times are (slowly) starting to change a little bit (not as much as they need to though).

This storyline with the challenges is just as ridiculous as the cold Mexican food in the morning. To get a following that big you'd surely need some better equipment - lighting, mics, better camera, and then some editing afterwards. They literally shoot it from a crap angle on their phone and upload without any editing. It must look absolutely shite and no one would watch it irl, let alone be hounding them for their next instalment.

I have thought about the morning delivery of cold Mexican food every single episode. I would love to know the though process behind this story.
