I must admit, I've always liked how in Bake Off they do tend to include the older, traditional (usually women) bakers. It grinds my gears when they lose out to the hipster engineering grads who can build three storey structures out of ginger biscuits.

But if you just plain forget to put the flour in, it's fair game

No. There was a bit of a fuss about that in the press this week. But technicals all have to have identical ingredients to make it fair. Freya can use what she likes in her own recipes.
