And Toby has become the villa’s therapist.

WHAT?!

@QueenBee52

It was shocking to see how anxious Millie was about Faye potentially finding out exactly who voted for her..

Once again it's fine for Faye to vote for people... but its not fine for anyone to vote for Faye.

Her nasty bullying hypocrisy is beyond the pale..

☹️

That’s a good point actually, she’s mouthing off like everyone has voted for her, but she’s also had to vote for 2 couples. She’s saying ‘well they should have voiced their concerns to me first’ but did she do that to the 2 couples she voted for? Of course not, because nobody knew they were going to be doing this vote. She says she doesn’t like 2 faced people but she’s exactly the same!

Am actually getting bored of watching her be aggressive, I don’t want to sit watching her shout at everyone for an hour. This is not the drama we want LI!

Chicchicchicchiclana · 17/08/2021 09:37

Far from being insecure and vulnerable, Faye is exceptionally arrogant. She thinks she is top dog in the villa and is incensed that any one of the other couples voted for her and Teddy. She was sniffing around trying to find out who voted for her all day. Of course the producers put Priya up to stirring up that particular fire.

I've never particularly understood the love for Teddy on here other than I suppose he's one of the better blokes out of a bad bunch. But I'm put right off him by association.

ChequerBoard · 17/08/2021 10:01

@Monestera

I don't buy that the islanders are afraid of Faye, apart from maybe Jake. I think they don't want to be attached to any kind of negative drama. They're afraid of looking like the baddie to Faye's "call a spade, a spade honesty". They won't know that actually Faye's not getting a good reception out here.

I quite like Faye, and she wouldn't frighten me because I think she's all bark and no bite.

Faye is many things and I think quite a troubled person but she is not honest.

She twists things to her own specific point of view and then shouts and screams until people are just too bloody worn out to argue with her any more.

That's isn't honesty it's actually narcissistic behaviour because it's always all about Faye.

Anon778833 · 17/08/2021 10:06

I agree @ChequerBoard . Abusive people self proclaim themselves as (in this case, honest) repeatedly so that they brainwash people to believe that's who they are.

Mistressofnone · 17/08/2021 10:20

The "you know me - I tell it how it is" types.

HmmmmmmInteresting · 17/08/2021 10:23

I’m so glad Priya has gone. At first I thought she was bouncy and vibrant, full of confidence. But she is just another charming, narcissistic kid with a silver spoon in her mouth, persuaded by her own superiority and intelligence. Ten a penny. I know these are good traits for a surgeon. Not so for a general practitioner. GPs are gate keeper and we know patients are prevented from getting the treatment they need. And as others have said, is she really that intelligent? The total lack of self awareness and dinosaurs from Mars comment would suggest otherwise.

Someone on twitter said "if someone tells me they just received a horrible diagnosis then their doctor took a selfie with them I will know Priya passed her finals"

I like Toby now too, he handled the Jake drama really well. He actually seems to think before he speaks.

putthebinsout · 17/08/2021 10:31

I really dislike that "oh I'm one of a kind because I always speak my mind" attitude that Faye has. Most adults have figured out that it's not always kind or appropriate to say exactly what you think really loudly the second you think it without care for how it comes across to others. It's not bravery or something to be proud of. It just shows immaturity

TheTallOakTrees · 17/08/2021 10:48

Totally agree. He gives me the 'ick'. He sits there and takes it. Perhaps he thinks he can fix it. Who knows. Maybe his pervious relationships were like this too?

TheTallOakTrees · 17/08/2021 10:48

previous (obviously)

Mookie81 · 17/08/2021 11:09

@HmmmmmmInteresting

you have a real bee in your bonnet about this ... why ? 🤣

Because she gives me 'unplug your life support to charge my phone' vibes.

Yes, Brett is a sweetheart. Apparently very socially aware, so I'm not surprised his SM has posted that.

Priya thinks he's boring? She's not exactly lit our screens up, has she?

'Charge my phone' Grin Hmm you are a kindred spirit.
Mookie81 · 17/08/2021 11:30

100% Priya was told by the producers to speak to Faye. It was such an awkward fake conversation.

jay55 · 17/08/2021 11:38

Toby had grown about ten years mentally in there. It's quite fascinating. I do wonder if this is the first time in his life, he's had the time to observe others, and process what he likes and dislikes.

No self awareness
vjg13 · 17/08/2021 11:42

And rudeness!

ufucoffee · 17/08/2021 11:42

I honestly think that if everyone just walked away from Faye when she is kicking off then she'd stop. I mean if they all just stood up and went either upstairs or into the bedroom, didn't answer her, or enter into any conversation with her. Her behaviour is just pathetic attention seeking

QueenBee52 · 17/08/2021 12:01

Producers shouldn't change the format of the show... because one person cannot be trusted to behave like an adult.

So No... I don't blame the Producers for continuing with the challenges like 'least compatible' couple ... because this is what Love Island is....

If Faye reacts aggressively then she should be removed.

TonyThreePies · 17/08/2021 12:32

I agree. It's pretty irresponsible actually, given her previous outburst. They let her go off like a loose cannon, bring her in for a chat about #bekind and to apologise then send Priya in to wind her up like a clockwork nuclear bomb.

Toby has improved so much. I didn't like him at first but he's shown kindness and perception more recently.

I'd like to believe this, but sadly i think it's more that he was edited badly initially, then guided and edited better, with the real Toby being somewhere in between.
Winemewhynot · 17/08/2021 12:44

Glad Priya’s gone, she came across as really self absorbed and patronising, like many student doctors I’ve met in my time actually Grin

Did anyone notice how she came in with a very conservative style, high necklines, simple hair and make up abs by the end she looked like another PLT clone, especially on the dinner date challenge 😂 her parting shot to Faye was clearly to cause trouble, btw we didn’t vote for you therefore all ya mates did!

Poor teddy has no chance of winning with Faye, he seems a shadow of his former self, all he seems to do in her company is nod in agreement.

Chloby for the win for me Star

hahahayoumustbejoking · 17/08/2021 12:46

How many people getting the popcorn 🍿 ready for Faye tonight?

I can't wait!

CarpyDiem · 17/08/2021 12:56

@hahahayoumustbejoking

I can't wait!

Very few

It's noise, not drama, and we've seen it all before.

I'll either not be watching, or will watch on catch up so I can fast forward on the chance they donfind something more interesting to show (I think that chance is very slim, unfortunately)
