A different perspective on Hugo - perhaps he just really hasn't fancied anyone in the villa and he isn't willing/able to fake it? I mean, jake gets a lot of criticism on here for being fake.

I'm not sure whether I believe this myself but it is possible!

I don't know how the post casa amor dumpings have gone in previous years but I'd like to see them all up for an individual dumping with the bottom ones being dumped.

Perhaps it would just mean losing Matt and Dale but I'd like to see a couple of the solid couples broken up Jiberty or Miliam or even Feddy or Choby. Then introduce newcomers and see how the mixing goes.

I think Hugo is confused by the purpose of the game. It’s not to find someone you’ll settle down with and marry fgs, just good enough chemistry and connection to see through the game show! It doesn’t have to be perfect, very few of these relationships will stick on the outside. He seems to want it all though

I think his plan was to do a Dr Alex, have people rooting for you as you've been unlucky finding someone etc, and then hope to couple up so everyone will be like yay finally, winners. He seemed to try this with chloe but hasn't managed to pull it off, and the tide has since turned so he missed his chance.

I'm not really sure that Hugo does like Chloe - where are people seeing this? I think he might want to be with her, just because all the guys said they fancied her - but not because he genuinely likes her.

It's true that he may not really have found 'his type' in there, so is struggling to find his place - but there's still a respectful way to conduct yourself in such a situation, and he's behaved in a questionable way to be 'one of the lads'.

It could just be the way the show has been edited, but very few of them seem to have any integrity. Need to be true to yourself.

The difference with Jake is that I'm sure he does fancy other women - the side he unleashed at CA shows what he'd be up to if he could - he just sussed out quickly that he wasn't in the running to get the girls he wanted so realised he was onto a good thing and could win with Liberty. So it's not quite as simple as faking it, but it's better for his ego and strategy to stick with her. I think he's a bit on the short side to compete with the other guys (nothing against shorter guys IRL, but this isn't RL) and after a certain point no girl would consider him because of Liberty anyway.

Hugo is whole different can of worms and who knows what's really going on in his head, but although he's been entertaining at points, it's not the show for him so best that he goes.

Hugo seems to get the ick after 12-36hrs with any girl he couples up with. Agree he definitely needs to go now.

Faye’s lipstick looked a lot better night, I wondered if one of the CA girls had given her a heads up about it.

I was pondering last night, as I had nothing better to do now the CF locked parking thread has finished), whether the impact of lockdown has had a big effect on the personalities and interactions this year.?Given that there seems to be a lot of very young people in there this year and they’ve all had pretty much a year of just interacting online rather than mixing, socialising and developing their social skills and personality.

I think his little piece towards Toby was to try and seem like a gentleman and woo her, I doubt he genuinely liked her mind as he'd had plenty of chances before and never seemed overly bothered. I'm not a fan of his to be honest, I hope he is playing a game and not being his usual self otherwise, ew.

It all seems so serious this year though, I don't know if it's post lockdown perspective from viewers, terrible casting, or just that it's had its day- but instead of new arrivals bounding in and having fun, entertaining challenges and lightheartedness, it all seems very heavy and serious.

Even if Hugo's plan was to do a Dr Alex, he's too much of an oddball in the moment to pull off any kind of plan. The "job done" line alone shows how unthinking he is. Whatever issues he has going on, they don't fit into the fairly simple parameters of what LI needs to function.

God, that was so awkward. I get Faye is friends with Kaz but she could've said something to Clarisse. I'd hate to be in her position especially knowing the other girls aren't really there for her

I can't figure Faye out - sometimes she comes across really well, other times she's a bit bolshie. Some people have said she is a bit of a bully; either way, I'm not seeing much kindness from anyone in there.

Y'know, the real kindness that comes from the heart ... compassion for anyone who's in distress (not just your best buds).

We've since found out that came after 5 takes, and I think that casts a different light on it.

Even if it turns out that the '5 takes' thing is invention, people are believing it, because it's all so plausible and helps explain why so much of this season is stilted and weird

Im so glad Clarisse put Tyler straight on his bullshit.. Clarisse is loaded .. she doesn't need to money or the exposure... but a wee creep thinks he can treat her badly.. glad to took control and walked away.. I can see her walking regardless of tonights decision... when she said she could have been laying on a yacht in Dubai she actually meant it 🤣

and Matthew was so right to call Kaz out on her bullshit treatment of him.. Matthew was right.. Kaz should have spoken to him about it first.. Kaz has actually shocked me.. she's turned out to be a right nasty piece of work..

It's wrong that the longest reside to get to choose first..this should have been stopped long ago.. 🌸

This is unfair. The contestants all know that being in the villa and getting exposure is good for post show profile and earning more. I don't think Tyler was in any way trying to pass her around.

Surely it would be better if each girl and boy had to decide who to save individually, without discussing? That way they couldn’t be swayed (by kaz!!). Or maybe for boys to pick a boy and girls to pick a girl.

I so want Tyler to go- much as I dislike Hugo I never got the Tyler love from the start and he and kaz don’t deserve a place in the final. Mind you nor does Hugo 🤣

I reckon Liam and Millie will win - which is kind of annoying as he’s got away with murder, but Millie definitely deserves it out of all the girls. I can’t get on board with Faye and teddy - they seem genuine but they just seem so mis-matched somehow. As for Chloe and Toby - she’s nuts to take him back after all that. I want abi to win- unfortunately she doesn’t have anyone to couple up with Blush

The BEST twist would be for kaz and Mathew to win and Matthew to take the money, leaving kaz high and dry 🤣

I have been lurking since thread 1. I have spent the last two nights on my poorly toddler's floor. This thread has been the only thing to keep me going. Last night I tried to watch it on my phone, on silent 😂. Turns out you cant get subtitles on the app!
