These threads have something like 10,000 posts of loving and disliking the contestants for all kinds of reasons and NONE of them were to do with race until a couple of posters turn up!

I'm actually still rooting for Liam and Millie. I think Liam had his head turned because Lillie was laying it on thick, Jake was encouraging him and obviously he did fancy her but realised he did have something special with Millie and chose to go back to the villa alone. I think he had a nervous laugh when Lillie confronted him which made him look bad but he does seem sorry for what he's done. Millie is right to make him sweat a bit though. He seems like a nice lad who made a stupid mistake.

Teddy and Abi would make a lovely couple and despite all the Jake hate I actually like him and Liberty as a couple. He did seem genuinely gutted for Liberty watching the video clip last night.

Teddy needs to dump Faye.

Was Unique bullied off the threads? I thought she had a comment deleted by MN and then decided to name change leave it there.

Zampa - I really don't get it? Do you honestly think Kaz has been singled out in particular? I could gather together hundreds of posts which were critical of every other participant in the contest from day 1 (with the possible exception of Millie and Liberty who seem to be very much liked). Kaz was and probably still is a much loved favourite - she's not been voted off yet ffs - but she has behaved badly and Mumsnetters have noticed. Why can't we simply discuss all Islanders as equals?

I agree that Teddy needs to ditch Faye, but he had it bad for her. I’m not sure he’s ready to start up with someone else. I think he’s another, like Millie after Casa Amor who could really use a break from being coupled up.

This is Faye on best behaviour at the start of the relationship AND with an audience. Imagine her a couple of years in to the relationship and behind closed doors

I'm hoping they will show Jake encouraging Liam to get together with Lillie and then Lillie complaining about Liam not kissing or touching her in bed.

Without condoning Faye's general attitude her comments to Jake were spot on.
He really didn't like being called on his two-facedness, did he?

I think people are too kind to Liam. He clearly thought he did no wrong and was waiting (in his words) for Millie to calm down and stop being so hysterical.
By enlisting the house and setting up those 'grand gestures' he effectively turned the situation round.
She became cruel by not taking him back and the whole cheating thing was brushed under the carpet.
He was very manipulative.

I think they need to keep doing mass dumping to keep it interesting as there aren't many likeable people.

You have, indeed, a right to express what's on your mind, what many of us are saying is that it's the wrong thread. You can't make comments that black women aren't 'allowed" to do/ say certain things without evidence. This is the route to division and misunderstanding.

Zampa you can beat it with your 'white fragility'- stop politicising a light-hearted thread and tarring us all with the same brush (and yes I chose that metaphor intentionally).

I am team Teddy and Abi! I think Abi is quieter and more mature and would appreciate Teddy more. She had her heart set on Toby from the start but that didn't work out. She should stay in, I find her very appealing. Also Teddy, I thought he was a bit boring at first but now I find my bias against him is that he seems so weirdly fixated on Faye. Of course it's hard to tell but I can't believe she's genuinely his type. He didn't behave all that well in Casa Amor but compared to the others he was reasonably saintly.

To anyone worried about young women thinking that dating is well represented on Love Island - let me tell you that my 20 year old DD is just as outraged by some of the bad behaviour as me! Hopefully there are still many many girls out there who value themselves and aren't willing to bend all their morals/feelings/analytical thoughts for the sake of a mere man.

I also think people are too kind to Liam, to the pp who said that. With all my heart I want Millie to forget him, but hopefully she now just has her eye on the £50,000 and is pretending to keep that in her sights.

I am all for people playing the game to stay in. It is a game. That's what they do.

I don’t see Abi and Teddy together. She’s grown on me but I also don’t see her winning. Teddy is lovely and absolutely swoon worthy to look at, if Priya does come in it’s probably because she’s been hand picked for him - and the situation with Faye has been carefully choreographed by the producers to split her from Teddy

@Chicchicchicchiclana I agree with everyone that Kaz's behaviour has been out of order but the vitriol that some posters have shown towards her is unpleasant and beyond what these threads have always been about.

I can't and won't judge anyone posting on here as I can't know anyone's motives.The whole point of my initial post, pages ago, was just to get people to consider the language they were using about her and why. That extends to all Islanders.

I was definitely rooting for Kaz but, like many, I no longer want her to get into the final and I hope Tyler shows his true colours soon, so she doesn't fall in too deep (again). I'm firmly in the Toby/Chloe camp for the win now.

I’m not sure I buy Abi as being that mature, she seems like a nice girl but she did a lot of trailing after Toby with a baby voice trying to get him to kiss her.

I think Teddy likes confident women with strong personalities- the problem is that Faye isn’t genuinely confident, it’s all a mask for her insecurities. I actually think he would have really liked Maura from a few years ago

Also how hilarious would it be if Priya went for Toby?

Jake looked like he was going to cry 😂. He's one of the people who say things behind closed doors then when someone finds out shits himself.
