Cbeebies Babes

The only telebabes I ever see now are on cbeebies!! Anybody got any particular favourites?
Personnally I think the new presenter on Tikkabila, Vijay is, as Big Cook Ben might say, "Hot,hot, hot!" My all time favuorite however is the librarian on Story Makers. She 's really got something about her. The big disadvantage though is that like Princess Fiona in Shrek, when it gets dark she turns into a stange green creature!!

They are very big toes and there's three on each hoof paw thing.

Whoa, wait a minute. I'm NOT a sloth. That's my whole point!

And that's a rehabilitation centre without access to jiggling Nicole and her bouncy friends.

DaddyCool · 16/11/2004 13:09

Yes, the Nicole thing. I've read this post and still can't figure out who Nicole is. What channel, what time?

Just off to munch on some leaves....

Nicole is a Cbeebies presenter. At weekends there is a "Nicole's Hour" where she does lots of crawling on all-fours and lots of jiggling and bouncing. Dh is now a fan and BGD is waiting to see the jiggling for himself but so far Mrs BGD won't let him.

It has happened a bludy gain. I had a committee meeting for my football club last night. I came back and said to Mrs BGD I need to see all the team managers. She suggested I meet them on Saturday after the games. "Good idea" I said. I later realised that on Saturday at 5.00 I've got to persuade about 80 footballers at the clubhouse to watch cbeebies instead of the football results!!
Chances of success?
Must remember the video recorder!!

Yours frustratedly

Mr Floppy

DaddyCool, I am not familiar with the works of Olivia from the bedtime hour. I will sample her delights (so to speak), judge her performance and report back.
However, I do go back to my original choice, the Librarian from Storymakers.

BGD - Depending on the ages of your children you could always try my dh's tried and tested method of getting the telly switched on while pretending it wasn't his idea:

Step 1: Lure child to a room out of dw's earshot.

Step 2: Say to child "Do you want to watch television? (or name a particular programme)

Step 3: If child says no, repeat Step 2 until they change their mind. Tell child "Well go and ask mummy" - safe in the knowledge that if dw refuses then she will be the one to suffer the consequences.

Step 4: Child goes trotting in to dw and says, "Mummy. Can I watch the television now?" Dw sighs, realises that it might give her a bit of peace and switches it on.

Step 5: Dh saunters casually into the room and says "Oh. Watching the television are you?" Dh sits down to watch with an exaggerated shrug that's meant to mean "Well I might as well watch it if it's already on."

The downside of course is that when dw finds out your little secret method she will be less than pleased and may resort to some sneaky underhand means of revenge.

Mrs BGD works on the rugby players principal; Get your retaliation in first. So retribution has already happenned because I deserve it!! She's probably right anyway

I managed to catch Nicole and yes, it was a life experience.

BGD, have you experienced the loveliness that is Olivia yet?

BigGayDad · 22/11/2004 23:04

Caught Nicole, a fine performance I must say!! Still taste the joys of Olivia, but will make sure I do.

Big hugs to y'all and thanks for the encouragement!

BGD and DC, Why don't you just get your children to watch Hollyoaks. More tottie per square inch of screen than any man can handle! Luckily for me dw loves it so sunday mornings are bliss as long as i can cover my ears for an hour

coppertop · 22/11/2004 23:09

So Nicole was worth the wait then?
