I know maybe I shouldn't say this, but does anyone else think that there's something not quite right about same difference?

for brother/sister they just seem too close, too ... can't put my finger on it but it just feels wrong.

omg WW - you just hit the nail on the head. that flowers in the attic thing...

geordiemacminx · 24/11/2007 22:08

Incest a game for the whole family...

I know what you mean - its just wrong when they sing love songs... " When this world runs out of lovers we'll still have each other" ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

DeathBySnooSnoo · 24/11/2007 22:09

as singers they are far too 'butlins' to be in x-factor.

i do find their closeness unsettling, but could that be due to the fact that my dc cant be in the same room for more than 10 minutes without a fight breaking out?(actually, most people i know cant be in the same room as their siblings for more than 10 minutes without some sort of argument/snide comments/bitching going on).

maybe they are the product of perfect parenting.

Tommy · 24/11/2007 22:11

have been saying this since it started - deffo weird

agree with geordiemacminx - very odd when they sang that line...

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:11

who went tonight?

onlyjoking9329 · 24/11/2007 22:13

beverley went tonight

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:14

really?

diodnt exopect that.

i like same difference in a cheesey fun entertainment way.

tbh any brother/sister combo singing love songs makes me cringe.

controlfreaky2 · 24/11/2007 22:16

misdee! back to your old self..... where's lvoc gone then?

paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:17

Take it for what it is! A bit of fun, a lot of cheese, and something to pass the long winter evenings with the kids in front of the TV.

Sordid, mucky little minds have some people...

When, oh when, is that plastic, boring girl band going to GO??????

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:18

LVOC is on holiday whilst misdee slims lol.

tbh i dont feel right as misdee anymore. just trying on my old 'skin' so to speak.

LittleBella · 24/11/2007 22:20

That girl band is awful

Extremely dislikeable bunch of girls, there's something very charmless about them.

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:21

i dont like hope, but i though Phoebe sang well tonight.

gomez · 24/11/2007 22:23

Ah but Misdee you are Misdee always surely...

Why does it feel strange?

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:23

dunno, maybe because Misdee was me for such a long time before transplant.

LVOC was more fun lol.

LittleBella · 24/11/2007 22:24

Phoebe's a brilliant singer. And actually the group are quite good. But they just lack likeability I think.

paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:24

Now if you want to talk about something REALLY vomit inducing, perhaps Hope and that song they sang a couple of weeks back - what was it again - hanky panky? slappy crappy?

Eeewwwwwwwwww...now that WAS weird

controlfreaky2 · 24/11/2007 22:28

was that the one when they were just wearing pants? classy!

paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:30

Yes - they were all wearing black, grey and red outfits, hair pulled back, and red lipstick. Lots of bum slapping, and jiggling in front of Simon.

wannaBe · 24/11/2007 22:32

rhydian will win.

OP posts:
paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:35

I hope he does win - it would be good to see someone who doesn't conform to the norm winning such a commercial, mainstream show (which I'm completely addicted to )

wannaBe · 24/11/2007 22:49

well it seems it was all fixed anyway.

according to what I just read online (and now unable to get page back up but will post link later), they actually auditioned separately but were put together for the show.

OP posts:
paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:50

AHA!! I knew it...

(Note to self - get out more)

lissielewzealand · 24/11/2007 22:52

i LOVE rhydian, he's head and shoulders above everyone else. as for same difference, they just seem to be nice people. they are well-mannered, hard-working and very talented. i dont find them icky at all!

Misdee · 24/11/2007 22:55

wannabe? hope or same difference?

hope were rejects from the girls section. futureproof were rejects from the boys.

paolosgirl · 24/11/2007 22:59

Well said, lissie. They seem innocent, harmless and fun. My kids love them, DD wants to be the girl, and it seems a shame that they're being put down for just being nice.
