Hannah and Nick

MotionActivatedDog · 25/07/2021 21:57

That felt like a very short episode.

Do we know how long June was a enslaved in Gilead?

OverByYer · 25/07/2021 21:57

Tissue anyone? That last scene was very powerful.

But...but...it's only 5 to 10!

Ah well. She made it. Phew

TheSpottedZebra · 25/07/2021 21:57

I still didn't really get what happened with Nick / Commander Lawrence / the aerial bombardment.

CloseYourEyesAndSee · 25/07/2021 21:57

@Lnix

Oh 🤧 the Hannah/family flashback. I needed that to remind me why she's acting so totally insane. Totally understandable in the context of leaving your child. Never mind leaving her to those monsters! 😭😭
Exactly. I think I'd rather die than leave my child to them. I would like to think I'd die trying to get him out rather than leave him. I don't know, but I would want to be that person.
whatsthestory123 · 25/07/2021 21:58

oh i thought it was the next step freedom, never thought of it being hannah related

bad me lol

Horehound · 25/07/2021 21:58

I thought it felt like a long episode!

FrankiesKnuckle · 25/07/2021 21:58

Despite the naysayers, it's good telly!!

GrandPrismatic · 25/07/2021 21:58

Ack…was a bit disappointed this week. Wasn’t moved by the reunion with Luke. I think I am confirmed team Nick Blush

Faircastle · 25/07/2021 21:58

I feel quite emotionally exhausted after that.

dapsnotplimsolls · 25/07/2021 21:58

I could do without the stirring film music 🙄

GoingGently · 25/07/2021 21:59

I am team Nick too. Luke seems a bit wet and ineffectual to me!

OverByYer · 25/07/2021 21:59

I’m exhausted

Will she explain she fell in love with Nicole's daddy

She did that last series, she sent a tape for Luke with the plane of children, and told him nicole was born out of love even told him he'd met nick once, and Luke should move on sort of thing.

Horehound · 25/07/2021 22:00

I don't like Luke or nick!

Yes I agree. I said earlier I feel her escape is such an anticlimax and I don't feel any sense of satisfaction at all.
CrouchEndTiger12 · 25/07/2021 22:01

Getting fed up with this now. Could have condensed that into half the time and added more.

GoingGently · 25/07/2021 22:01

Interesting that they've just introduced this undercurrent of insecurity that's always been present in her marriage to luke. I don't think we've seen that before?

Crinkle77 · 25/07/2021 22:01

I found Emily and Moira's escapes far more exciting.

GoingGently · 25/07/2021 22:01

@Crinkle77 it's because she's going to head back into gilead innit!

I think I'm team friendship! I LOVE her with Moira, and also with Janine. And Rita.

I'm sure it has. They have explored the 'second wife/adultery' storyline before.

Exactly. I've never understood why people criticised June's choice to stay in the past, I couldn't/wouldn't leave my DC either.

I wasn't moved by her reunion with Luke either. I think he's been too far removed from it all that we (as viewers) aren't invested in their relationship now.

GoingGently · 25/07/2021 22:02

So do we think janine is dead now?
