I will be watching Sunday. I've never watched a football match in my life and I'm not about to start now. In fact, the clash is a bonus as it means DH & DCs will be watching on the other TV and not dosturbing me!

Definitely won't be watching on Sunday so will avoid this thread until Tuesday!

I can no longer watch it as keep seeing the torture scenes in the new series in my mind's eye. DP can watch it on his own. It is the most depressing programme ever.

Thinking about Commander Lawrence’s comments on Gilead not caring about children - whatever her many faults, I’d say that children’s welfare is still one of Aunt Lydia’s top priorities. I think if anything could turn her, it would be that.

Actually that’s really bad IMO & I might comment once the season’s over.

I think the Aunts care about the Handmaids & children (in their own warped way) but they don't truly have any influence, they're still women, likely only given any authority because it was thought HMs would respond better to women. The commanders and bigwigs are all about the power. Same as most other governments, I guess.
