Did no one else see Justine on US Love Island?

She took her time, dipped her toe in, then went for her man - I thought she was fabulous.

Just finished catching up definitely getting a bit less dull now thankfully.
The girls seem to have split into 2 groups a bit- Chloe/Millie/Lucinda then Kaz/Faye/Rachel at the moment. Totally agree with PPs about Rachel seeming unstable! She’s 29, really don’t understand her reactions to everything when she’s been in there for 2 minutes. I agree that she probably shouldn’t be on a show like this.

Unmoved by Jake telling Liberty his ‘test’ getting to know Millie showed him how strong him and Libby are. If Lucinda has been showing him interest it would be a completely different story.

Oh and I also noticed Sharon and Aaron sat happily together in the background when the girls drama was kicking off.

And with her IIRC (?) she did just what Chloe did and went for it during a challenge.

When I watch Faye I just see someone who’s had trauma. Similarly with Sharon.

I fo with Sharon too. I can't remember what it was, but I picked up on some body language around family. It's very sad really, that they are so defensive.

I understand that the whole part of the challenges is for people to show who they are interested in (and get slightly humiliated) but isn't it time the producers found a way to make them more inclusive so someone like Hugo isn't stood looking like a right (or left) tit? I mean yes, one of the girls could have gone for him to make it look better but wouldn't that have potentially left him thinking someone was interested when they weren't, and lead to further humiliation down the line.

Following - Love Island is my very guilty pleasure. Just off the watch the first look for tonight then will be back.

So, Teddy is waiting on the Hideaway terrace. Will he get to choose who goes to meet him or will the villa?

If it's the latter, I hope that they choose Kaz.

Seeing how cosy Aaron and Sharon seemed last night, I think Aaron might pick Sharon again but who knows. Wish they'd shown us what they were chatting about & same with Rachel and Hugo on the seat - I'd like to know more about their conversation.

I think that Chloe has a good figure and she's personable and friendly despite the vocal fry. I agree that Faye and Sharon both come across as a bit defensive and vulnerable.

I did feel sorry for Hugo, that was game was horrible for him, but I can understand the girls not wanting to give him a pity snog. I don't think he's "too nice", there's just something about men like him and Dr Alex that just doesn't work on this kind of programme. I can't put my finger on it but I don't think women have a problem with Nice Guys. They're just looking for a bit of confidence and charisma.

Rachel should have picked Hugo, why on earth pick Brad!!!!

I'd like to know more about their conversation.

I hope they're saying how bored they are and how much they'd love to be able to listen to some music or read a book.

Even that would be good to hear @DavidTheDog - just to see a natural conversation would be good! They were sitting so close to each other and did seem very comfortable in each other's company despite what Aaron said to Sharon!

I really don’t want the new guy to be after Lucinda but if it’s true about his insta then it will probably be the case, but it’s boring now and tbh I think she’s smitten with brad so I don’t think her head will turn so will just be boring and a wasted person in the villa

I have to say I think it's really unhealthy to scrutinise and comment on how they look in this thread. They are all attractive in their own way or wouldn't be in there. To me it's really important to focus on their behaviour. This year it very much feels that they are less focussed on finding love and more on being Insta famous and they all seem very immature. I agree with person who said they should focus on an older demographic maybe mid to late 20s.

He also started to get a bit annoyed with her for questioning him, yet it was him that introduced the idea that he would want to get to know any blondes coming in. I was impressed by the way she calmly stated her case and didn't take any nonsense - causing him to back down a bit. She showed maturity.

I wonder if they will put many if any Indian Male and females in there soon?
I see lots of asian mixed couples out and about. Shouldn't be seen as rare esp in cities.

I’d like to see some Indian people too. Also some brunettes and redheads. Actually considering turning off if they send in one more blonde, there’s far too many already.

I wonder if the cast seem so bored and serious due to there being so much production involved with the show now?

I have read before from previous contestants that they have to stay up late for filming and alcohol is very limited. It feels as though every series becomes more and more over produced and conversations aren't able to happen freely. Perhaps 'scenes' are having to be constantly repeated/reshot and the staged and unnatural conversations are taking it's toll on the cast. It could be stopping them from being able to form the relationships we saw in earlier series? I know I would struggle with all of the mundane staged conversation!

I have to agree with this, something is different and I don't think it's all down to casting (although that is probably part of the issue too)

Something is off with the editing. They have the 'unseen bits' episodes and for the first time ever I watched it simply because I tried to get a feeling of them because as PPs have said there is no banter, silliness, friendships in the normal episodes.
I never bothered before since we would still get that with every episode, so I really don't know what has gone wrong this year. They show one - two hours of their 12+ hour day and this is what they choose to show? Are the contestants so boring and joyless that what we see is genuinely the best bits?
Poor choices and decisions have been made whether is the editing team, producers or the casting who knows.

I didn't find Dr Alex attractive in the slightest and his personality wasn't too good either throughout the series.
Assumed he was gay at one point.
Ps this new guy doesnt look that great either. Seen more pics.

I think having a nice voice is a big plus and esp on TV.
Rachel has easy listening one and Faye and Kaz at times. The rest can hardly understand.
