@Caneloalvarez

It was defo a massive overreaction to Hugo's comments... I agree they were annoyed after all the men picked Chloe and took it out on Hugo! Could see Sharon immediately regret it once he started to get upset.. she knew she looked like a right cow.

I don't get all this "dark features" waffle, have they been told not to say "I like black guys/girls" same with Millie saying she like Anthony Joshua's looks.. ok so you like black men, you're allowed to say it lol. In the same way that the guys are allowed to like white blonde girls. The only thing making me uncomfortable is that ALL the guys are showing preference for white/blonde. Why do they not select guys with a range of type? There's two stunning black girls in there being made to feel realllly insecure when it could have been avoided.. just doesn't sit right with me.

I so agree with how they are tiptoeing around the skin colour. Saying 'dark features' and not black skin. They won't offend anyone.
cupcakecourageous · 06/07/2021 23:53

I feel sorry for Rachel, it's so obvious that Brad used her as his ticket to stay in the villa, then also fooled around with her in bed that night and woke up the next morning and went cold on her....getting himself ready and prepped for new girls arriving.

He doesn't even have enough class to be less obvious. I don't think chuggs was attracted to her either but I don't think he would've made such a blatant fool of her.

She must feel so used, what a knock to her confidence, in a villa filled with attractive people on the hunt - even the most beautiful girl will be feeling insecure. He's made a complete mug of her.

Probably because the guys all said they liked 'personality' so they didn't appear superficial. Is Kaz 'stunning'? Rachel is pretty but she's a PITA so looks become quite unimportant when that is the case, as demonstrated by Liam within HOURS.
Who is good looking in there really? - Chloe, Rachel, Toby, Brad, and the new girl Lucinda?
Personality wise? Aaron, Chloe. Liberty.

I don’t think most of them do like blondes with blue eyes though?

Brad says he lives dark hair/eyes. Arron has also said the same.

The only one I can recall saying blonde hair blue eyes is the one couples up with the sweet blonde one (can’t remember their names)

Finally caught up! Sorry if this has been done but who does Kaz look like?? It's driving me made. I feel like a children's TV presenter but from like the 90s?

Will someone PLEASE snog the face off Hugo already.

Also Chloe perminantly sounds like she's about six margaritas up, she kind of slurs everything.

Diane-Louise Jordan?

Yesssss that's it. Grin When Kaz laughs she looks like her, same sort of smile and corners of her eyes. Not so much these days but when she was on BP.

SugarbabyMilly · 07/07/2021 05:04

I've no sympathy for Hugo at all. A lot of young women now have procedures and to stand there saying 'fake, fake, fake' was rude and nasty. I think most people know that using that word is offensive.

Men slating how women look and choose to groom themselves isn't a good look.

Neither of these women covered themselves in glory in their vicious response to a man who lives with a visible disability. He is entitled to say he prefers woman without implants fillers etc, just as the other guy said he preferred blondes, and the other guy did not like arm hair, why was Hugo alone targeted ?

Also not a good look.

That's not really what happened though is it? It was a question in a game, not an unprovoked attack, and he has a right to not find women who look or act fake unattractive. We all have our preferences, turn ons and turn offs, Hugo was asked to state his in a game, on a show based on attraction. Two people then chose to take massive offence and start a drama.

Genuine question, why is it okay for Jake to state a preference for petite, blonde, blue eyes with small feet or Aaron to say he finds hairy arms a turn off yet Hugo is the one that gets vilified for expressing his likes/dislikes.

SugarbabyMilly · 07/07/2021 06:10

Because Jake isn't slating women and calling them 'fake' stop mansplaining.

Genuine question;

Do you think that women are held to higher standards of appearance than men? And if so, is it not crass of a man to pick apart women who have cosmetic procedures (most do these days) on a TV show that A LOT of people watch.

Do men become invisible as women do with age?

So what if that's his opinion? He should know better than to air it on a popular TV show.

TableFlowerss · 07/07/2021 06:12

As per usual and, some people’s reactions are OTT. ‘Oohhh how dare he say her prefers blonder hair, how dare he say he prefers brown eyes’

Many people do have a type ‘tall dark and handsome’ being quite the favourite. The girls went OTT in my opinion, because they’ve both clearly have had work done.

Not everyone does like the fake look and that’s absolutely fine. On the other hand some men can’t get enough of it and like that look.

TableFlowerss · 07/07/2021 06:14

As another pp pointed out, it wasn’t a random declaration. It was part of a bludy game. I feel sorry for him

Hugo wasn't just randomly slating women, he was answering a question in a game on a show where 'my type on paper' is pretty much a catchphrase. 'What's your type?' is almost always the first question asked. As is the nature of the show. Hugo's comments didn't come from nowhere and if everyone else is allowed to state their likes/dislikes in the opposite sex then so is he.

Why is Aaron's hairy arms comment okay? And Jake liking small feet? Things that are natural and that women have no control over, same thing in reverse is it not?

I don't disagree with your other wider points but I still don't think Hugo was wrong for liking what he likes and answering the question in a game.

TitsInAbsentia · 07/07/2021 06:59

I wonder how things would have rolled if Hugo had used the word natural several times instead of fake?

The new girls are really going to ruffle some feathers.
Rachel knows what is coming.

Stardust91 · 07/07/2021 07:32

Didn't Sharon say that one of the things that pissed her off with Hugo was that last week he was grafting the girls that have had cosmetic surgery done so he now he doesn't come across as a genuine person? (Or something along those lines)

I am not a fan of Faye. She really comes across as a spiteful person sometimes.

That's not what mansplaining means.
jay55 · 07/07/2021 08:01

If Hugo liked natural girls why did he go for Faye in the first coupling?
And spend all that time trying to woo her before Liam came in?

He's just as fake as Brad.

SugarbabyMilly · 07/07/2021 08:03

That's not what mansplaining means.

You're right. Sorry. I was trying to get across the point that people always make excuses for men's behaviour.

This man will have watched LI many times before and will know that a lot of the women who go on there have had cosmetic procedures. And he stood there saying 'fake' quite a few times. Is he really that dim that he wouldn't know that would upset people?

I will gladly take that task 😁

livingoffcoffee · 07/07/2021 08:06

@SugarbabyMilly what word should he have said instead then? If "fake" is offensive about those who have chosen to have plastic surgery...what would the acceptable way for him to answer what his turn offs are?

Truthfully If I found out a guy had hair implants & a penis extension or god forbid fillers. That would be a definite turn-off (due to the fakery):

Is it not ok to admit that?

Even big fake veneers would put me off now I know what's underneath them.
