At least Jake has said something to Liberty and she can step back a bit. He acted in a repulsive way going into the hideaway. I like Faye and Aaron. Toby is behaving as if he is about 15 and would rather be out playing football at the park.

Sharon did sound flashy and materialistic.

To be fair, I feel a bit sorry for Toby. He looks genuinely worried/ troubled. He clearly doesn’t like Kaz or anyone else but he’s meant to play the game so what can he do?

I kind of agree but I think its better to be honest because she clearly does like him. He's immature and says he hasn't been in this position previously so doesn't know how to handle it.

I doubt Kaz and Toby will find anyone as young in mentality as each other so they might be as well to stick together for as long as they can if they want to play the game.

I wonder what makes people like them sign up for LI? Neither of them appear to have much life experience let alone relationship experience. They don't know even know themselves let alone what they want in a partner. if they went in for five minutes of fame, its hard to feel sorry for them tbh.

Liberty is nice and falling -Jake is attempting to ease off in case someone else appears - he doesn't go 'wow' with her and he wants 'wow'. Hopefully soon since she is nice so hopefully with find someone else.

Fake and Liam - he really doesn't fancy her. She is too old for him - what's your 5 year plan - well I will only be 26 then ..... she finally realised that he is too young and not suitable for her - all that cringe when she first met him - ouch

Brad and new girl - nope not happening - honest with her to talk to others and said it straight away - she cried - been their for less than a day - woman up!

too fake for many men - shame since she is straight talking but the fake stuff puts many men off - not just my opinion I asked my brothers and 3 of their friends all similar in age to her - don't like that amount of fake stuff

What a total waste of space Liam has turned out to be. He has the personality of a dead fish and that's being unkind to the fish.

Rachel is all over the place. Not at all the sophisticated older woman she'd have us believe. She made a poor choice in Brad and he isn't bright enough to tell her what she wants to hear. A massive mismatch.

Aaron questioning Sharon's suitability as a love match because she doesn't want to give up her job, have 4 kids and do all the housework!? What a jerk.

Anyone know where the colourful kitchen storage jars are from - they say "sweet treats", "sugar rush" and "coffee break"? (Seen in the background when Brad and Rachel were having a chat after she picked him)

I don't think they would have much in common though - can't imagine them wanting to discuss similar things.

It’s true none of them seem to have any chemistry whatsoever.

It might just be the editing but Liam literally has zero banter. He just seems bored rigid and like he can’t be arsed to make any effort at all. It’s actually painful watching him and Faye just sitting there, desperately trying to think of something - anything!- to say. SO not going to work.

Jake / Liberty is a disaster waiting to happen. Toby seems pretty meh about kaz and Aaron has taken Sharon’s off the cuff remarks way too seriously.

Brad is nice to look at but otherwise brings precisely zero to the table. Rachel seems to have assumed she and Brad would be sailing off into the sunset and has belatedly realised he was just telling her what she wanted to hear …

Chloe didn’t even appear in tonight’s episode from what I remember. And now Hugo appears to have committed a mortal sin of some sort …

All in all the whole thing is an insipid mess with as much excitement as the first lockdown.

But I’ll still be watching tomorrow 😆

Rachel said right at the start, why have the girls not chosen Brad. And if she'd thought about it for two seconds, she'd have saved herself from her situation. At least she and Chuggs could have had a laugh while waiting for someone else, with no pressure on either side.

I think part of the problem is the editing of the 'normal' episodes. It doesn't feel like they did so much editing down in previous seasons. You still would see some silliness and islanders building friendships and rapport with each other so as a viewer you also got to know them/like them better.
Now all they pretty much show is the relationship/who do you like stuff which makes everyone look one dimensional.

This is why I much prefer the Australian Love Island, it's so much more fun! UK Love Island just seems to be full of "shall we go for a chat" moments, in the Australian LI you see much more of the Islanders having fun and forming friendships.

The editing probably spoils the show. Chloe seemed to have disappeared. I can't even remember who she is with. Rachel made a huge mistake not choosing Chuggs. Brad was always going to be a disappointment and we could all see it coming.

There is a lack of chemistry in there. The high stakes of being coupled up makes it all too serious. If they had three weeks of enforced singledom would there be more light-hearted fun and flirting?

I don't think he said anything too bad - wouldn't surprise me if clever editing was at play to make sure we all watch tonight..

God it's so boring. There's no fun, no laughs, no wonder none of them fancy each other. They're all to serious.
Even if the girls or the boys had a daft laugh together it would be something but none of them seem even up for that.
I wonder if every one of them are thinking of how they will be portrayed so are reigning it in. Need to keep it together for the influencer career to come.
Good Liberty has finally clicked what a knob Jakey boy is. I hope they send in a nice lad for her as she seems the most decent one in there.
The lads are gonna be fighting over the new girls. I hope they at least have a bit of personality about them and don't take themselves too seriously.

Late to the party but this year is dire...they needed to up their game and they haven't.
Boring boring boring! I just don't get if they need to have a big cull and get some entertainment in there.
Also getting sick of seeing fake tits in those stupid bikinis. Think love island has died a death which is a shame but they fucked it up when they cast stupid influencer wannabes with no intrest in finding love.
We've had some good seasons but this is by far the worse. Can't stand Faye, shows you what makeup can do they all below average without it!!!!! Take the makeup n fake tits away you've got an average day at Tesco.

I think Faye ( and most of the other girls ) usually looks prettier without her make-up. I'd also say that she has a fabulous figure without the implants.
