I think rowetta is totally amazing and love the fact that she's bonkers. God the appleton sisters were BORING.
The worst thing in all of this is what sharon's done to cassie. She had a really cute little style of her own going and now sharon's cut her hair (given her a fringe) and given her clothes that are just like every other teenager out there. And the songs...ugh...they couldn't have picked more boring old middle aged songs...for a teenager?

I reckon Rowetta will win because of her 'story' - but then no-one will buy her records (too Shirley Bassey) and the whole lot of them will sink back into the obscurity they came from .

Hester - what is Rowettas story. I have only started watching the live shows so missed alot of their history.

MissHoolie, it's been all over the celebrity chat magazines which I am sadly not too classy not to read . Rowetta survived a very, very violent marriage. She also was a backing singer for the Happy Mondays and there's been various stories about her involvement with the lead singer, but I can't remember the details because I couldn't be less interested in the HMs... So she'll appeal to everyone who loves a survivor (i.e. most of us). She's quite obviously damaged, isn't she?

Wasn't too impressed with many of them this week except Steve and Rowetta. But I agree with whoever it was that said that no one will buy records by any of them in a year's time. Still it's good fun to watch.

I think Tabby knows his teeth are awful - he keeps trying to cover them up.

What happened to that Peter from Fame Academy or even Ainsley from the year before? Sunk into obscurity??
